**Correction 36 MONTH**

Depends on what you put down......

With a small down payment I believe the payment is $900+.

even if its the 2007 model...wouldnt i t be less cuz they wana get rid of em for the 2008's to come in?Maybe I can help because I'm looking for a lease also!First off, there are NO incentives or rebates on any SRT'S as of now:( Ive been to 5 stealerships and everyone has their own prices!Basically a loaded 2007 GC SRT 8 is 46,665 sticker! This was my best offer-3,000 down (658$ for 39 months,10,500 miles)this is Not including bank fees, taxes, tags, dmv, first month payment! I figure it's gonna be 6000$ total! This is ALOT of money for something that is basically not yurs.:mad:If I put nothing down and added tax and tags etc. in the payment,it would be 900$ a month. I'm gonna wait til maybe september 4 the 08's to come in and see if there will be a price adjustment but I doubt it. I refuse to pay MSRP!Edmonds has it fully loaded for 45K!Hopefully I will be pushing one of these badboyz soon!!If you can get better numbers, please post it and I will use the ol"my friend got the same suv a this dealership for---" LOL

Call Don Conrad at Champion Jeep in Barrington, IL. He will see you any new SRT vehicle for $500 under Invoice.....thats a savings of at least 3500 off the sticker price. He will also get you a lease....

Only option was Inferno red paint. Sticker $40,220, I paid $37,993. Lease based on $35,993 after the $2000 I put down. Residual value $20,914

Guys,

THINK about this. Why would Jeep want to lease this car to ANYONE when they basically KNOW it will be beat the hell out of for the duration of the lease. ALSO, the warantee is for 3/36 and coincidentally most leases are for 36 months. So here comes some guy wanting a 36 month lease with nothing out of pocket. He is going to take that truck and beat the ever living HELL out of it for his duration of the lease. And Jeep winds up with a truely BEATEN truck, out of warantee, and also takes the huge depreciation hit for it.

It makes absolutely ZERO financial sense for Jeep to do things like that.

Common sense, but that is the harsh reality of it all....

Typically when you lease a vehicle you get a better residual % (the value of the vehicle at the end of the lease) on the newest model (thus being an 08'). In most cases any rebate the dealer may offer on the remaining current yr. model does not offset this % enough to go with that yrs. model. In addition, the money factor (the interest rate) is typically lower on the newest model. You also have the holdback $ value that the dealer gets from the manufacturer. Once a vehicle has been on the lot so many days the dealer is no longer incented by the manufacturer so they loose that money which then affects their bottom line. Leasing is no longer a great option. Banks were loosing their butts on over stated residual %. I leased a 1997 Jeep with a residual % of 69% after 3 yrs.(this means the jeep was worth 69% of what I paid for it at time of purchase 3 yrs later). When I lease my next jeep in 2000 the residual % was 47% for 3 yrs. A huge difference in monthly payments. I purchased my SRT-8 in Nov. 06 and financed it. If you do your research you will find that financing is a better option unless you lease a highly desired vehicle that the masses want (A Honda Odyssey for example). I would recommend financing at 72 mnths to get your payments lower. Hope this helps.

Note: The best day to hit a dealer is the last Sat. of the month.
