: Picture of "BrightPedals" please!
jawsk2 07-11-2006, 09:02 AM My SRT didn't come with brightpedals on it, but the bags were in the glove compartment. It had been in the showroom for awhile, so either someone snagged them off it, or they never put them on in the first place.
Either way, the dealership is saying they don't know what this brightpedals thing is all about. So, I'm taking them the window sticker, and would like to show them a pic of what they look like.
Thanks for any help.

Jumping in here, just in case. When you say bags....My pedals were shipped originally in small brown cardboard box. The only reason I am butting in is if you also got the entertainment/DVD set up, and those bags are like bubble wrap, they would have contained the wireless headsets.
jawsk2 07-11-2006, 12:53 PM It's a ziploc bag with this on it:
DC P/N: 56038768AG LEAR P/N: L0022339AD
Strangely enough, the headphones are another thing that didn't come in my jeep. They have no problem getting me a set of those, since they are the same in all their vehicles. They are claiming to have no idea what these pedals are though...
12SECUV 07-13-2006, 07:34 AM My SRT8 GC did not come with the pedals either. The dealer is working with the DCX regional rep to get them shipped to me. They are listed on the sticker.
jawsk2 07-13-2006, 08:02 AM They're shipping them to me as well. I'm pretty sure some salesman is pimping new pedals in both our cases!!
5LiterEater 07-21-2006, 06:25 PM I had the same issue when I checked out my GC at the dealer. I called the salesman out, and said I would not take delivery until the pedals were on it. He played dumb, and when I came by to pick it up, they still weren't on. He didn't bring it up, so I did. He said, "Oh yeah, the manager had them in his office so that nobody would steal them. I'll go get them for you." YEAH RIGHT!
jawsk2 07-21-2006, 06:32 PM Finally got mine yesterday!
art warner 07-01-2007, 07:34 AM I am finding out that we as SRT byers have way more knowledge than the sales people which really blows my mind. I,m finding out that each SRT might come with something that another one does not have; cars must be hand built. I had to use my window sticker sheet to show my local dealer that I have a tow wiring harness but it doesnt work. My big problem is this is the first GCSRT8 that he and his salesmen have see other than his dealer shows. Its gets old teaching these guy their job.
Go~RillaWRX 07-03-2007, 10:46 AM ^this is often true of enthusiast cars. I always knew more about my subarus than the sales people or parts dept., sometimes even more than the mechanics. To them its a job, to us...its a passion.
navyavi469 07-04-2007, 05:41 PM The average salesman is there to make a buck and get your money, not to know squat about the technical aspects of cars. Unless he's an enthusiast or well-trained, you will 90% of the time know more about the vehicle than him/her. He deals in sales tactics and numbers games only.
I always play dumb when I walk into a dealership, ask questions I already know the answer to. This gives me a good idea of who I'm dealing with, and I can use their ineptitude later in the sales process if i catch them intentionally lying about their products, or just giving mis-information on account of their being a dumbass.

I have the bright pedals on my 07, but they are not actually listed on the window sticker, nor could I find them specifically liosted in the 2007 sales brochure. Just power adjustable pedals with memory for the SRT8 Group 1 package. However, if there is a dispute on an 07, in the SRT8 interior picture in the 2007 sales brochure, the tops of them are just visible at the bottom left corner.--Bob
