When to the local gathering, Met up with a few friends. One with a Low 12's GTO. We have raced before. Once when I was stock, I beat him to 105 and he pulled me in. The other race was after all my work, but it was from a 60+ roll. He pulled me pretty good.

This time I have figured out if I am racing from a roll I need to have the traction control off and the EDIFF off.

Watch the NEW outcome. Oh and a EVO got in on the action also.

Keep in mind, That GTO that was easily pulled is around 12.2 1/4 mile car.

This was a 45MPH roll where the Jeep normally would get destroyed while in 4wd.

I shut down at around 120-125, I started at his back bumper, reeled him in, passed and shut down. My 1/4 mile is done so there is no point racing to 150+. I know eventually they will pass me. Just good to know I should be sub 12's:cool:

Doesn't appear to be too stock now does it? Let's also not forget that the mass of air moving through ported heads with that turbo is also going to be much greater than a stocker, even if they both read 20lbs.

The '06 is the Evo IX, not sure what the X is going to come with. They have really low compression and are made for high boost. I run 29psi on my DD with the stock internals.
