What is a good easy way to remove stained water droplets from acid rain and what not from the front and rear windows? They are water spots around where the wipers don't reach.

Would the magic eraser bar from that bald guy (kitchen cleaner) work?

Thank you

Ultra-fine "0000" steel wool ONLY, and glass cleaner. ;)

DO NOT USE "000" STEEL WOOL, IT WILL SCRATCH THE GLASS!!

I've used 0000 before to remove over spray & had no negative effects.

You try vinegar? Maybe CLR if it can be used on glass. Just DON'T GET IT ON YOUR PAINT!

A few days ago I did my other Jeep's windshield like that and followed with clay and finished it with RainX. Looks amazing now. Today is raining here and my wife called me earlier to tell me how nice the wipers were working with the RainX on the windshield. :)

Where do you get the steel wool? Supermarket or car parts store?

I ordered a few products from adams the in and out spray and their over all green cleaner that removes grease and what not. They said that would work. So I'm waiting to receive it from ups.

The mr clean bar worked really well if any one wants to try it. I sealed it with rain x spray after. Looks good so far

^^^ Adams products are great. mostly all i use. The best thing ive used is that 0000 steel wool, cheap at home depot and has alotta uses around the apartment too. Being a younger guy ive always looked up to "the car elders" for old school advice. One thing that has worked for me is vinegar and newspaper haha, works really well actually the times ive tried it. worth giving a try at least.

I learned this from an older guy years ago, when I worked in the detail shop at a Ford dealer. I've used this on literally hundreds of cars, never scratched one windshield. ;)

I've used steel wool before on my windshield and it works great.

I'm OCD about having a clean windshield, especially since I had mine tinted.

Does this also work to remove years of being hit by small pebbles, sand and other things that dont cause cracks or damage other than it looks like stars all over my windshield when I drive into the sun? Sure makes it hard to see. Been thinkig about replacing the glass.
