I came off and on ramp and there he was, we both punched it, i pulled a little at first but from 100 to 150 he was about 2 cars off my bumper. That's the fastest i've gone in this thing and god damn it's a rush weaving through traffic going that fast.

Oh and i don't know how modded he was but he had him self a nice set of 19's and great sounding exhaust, other than that it's anyones guess... but it was pretty fast.

I did that once against a bike...he couldnt believe a SUV was doing this.
all the way to 160. My leg was shaking from all the adrenaline.

I had my busa (Suzuki GSX1300R) close to 200mph, very stupid...I lived through it just so I can tell people but I have no desire to do that again. LOL

The thing that was the most surprising to me was how deafening the wind was at that speed...I don't know how people do it for a long time...I had really loud pipes on my TLs and I couldn’t hear them. I just wanted to slow down so my ear drums didn't explode.

185 (indicated) on my buddies Busa and he was far behind on my R1... :eek: I've topped out all my bikes, but seldom go that fast in my cars. I find myself slowing down in my old age. I'm 37 yrs old with a 2 yr old son, he need his father. ;)

Darting and weaving in a car/jeep at a buck fifty, I don't know. But the bike could get there and back by the time our jeeps simply got there!

Bikes scare the **** out of me, i rode my bro's R1 again today and still haven't got past 9000 rpms. It scares me just watching him drive it, but he does wheelies going 90 mphs...

I had my Gixxer up to 183. Helmet an full leathers on. The same gear I would ride with if I was going 1 mile down the road. Anyone who will ride without has a few too many screws loose!

Drag raced a modded 900 Ninja on my GSXR750 back when I was 19. We got up to 160 and I took him. the SECOND I let off the gas, I saw cherries. I slowed doown and he kept going. I thought the cop woulda gone after him but he had a sure thing with me. I got a night in jail, 6 moving violations (one for reckless driving and one for speeding 131mph, drag racing, 2 blown red lights, failure to signal and no valid M license. $2500 in lawyers, about 15 days total of missed work (over $1500) $3000 in fines and 200 hours of community service.

I got my picture in the paper and had to sold my bike.

I haven't been on a motorcylce since. I cannot control myself. I love to speed and that alone would kill me. I'm happy with four wheels and air bags now.

It is good to know what your limitations are (or lack of self control) That is half of the battle.

I've done 185 on my CBR1000RR and 155 in my Mach 1 and my friends SL55. I pushed the Cobra (495 rwhp/485 rwt) past 160, but I don't know what I topped out at as the speedo only went to 160. I'm a huge fan of speed, but I can restrain myself 99% of the time. It's really frustrating driving a truck that can barely pull a uhaul trailer over a little bridge and maintain speed (f150 5.4). I can't wait until I can afford to get into an SRT8 Jeep.
