Well after a full week of ownership and now about 750 miles under the belt, my foot trumped my mind and finally gave this beast it 1st taste of WOT.
Getting onto Hwy 6/Loop 340 this morning it finally happened, the entry ramp is also the exit ramp up ahead (stupid aggie engineering:D ), anyway I looked in the side mirror and saw a ton of traffic coming and the majority don't use their blinkers for the exit so I have no idea if they are trying to get behind me or have no plans to let me in, so my foot said the heck with this and put it to the floor at about 30mph and OMG:eek: I nearly crapped myself at the response this jeep had and within a few seconds I was already at 80, these things should come with a free package of underwear:cool:
It's going to be hard now not to want to play more now that I really know what kind of power this thing has and I can only imagine you modded guys how much more fun you are having.

I have had mine for the past three months, 2600 miles. performance mod only Volant CIA. Borla S comming.

The jeep is sick..... just push the peddle to the floor and hold the steering wheel.

What are you waiting for??? The SRT engineers have said drive it like you stole it from day 1 of ownership. Maybe that will give your foot some incentive to trump your mind. :)

This was really the 1st time I needed to get on it, most of the time my 7yr old son is with me and I'd rather be safe with him in the Jeep than take any risks but I will take your advise and have more fun with it from now on when it's just me
