Whats up guys - new to the Forum however I'm in the process of purchasing my Jeep SRT8. Excited to blow the doors off unsuspecting motorists!

I'm planning on adding a CAI and Performance Exhaust System.

Which products will maximize horsepower and torque???

There is a lot of good info on this site about this....... i have corsa and really really like it ... I've never seen or heard the Borla system so i cant compare the two but people who have seem to sway more toward Borla S system.

I have no idea if it maximizes torque or horsepower. But if you want to blow the doors off motorists. Borla S is what you want. Driving through overpasses, tunnels, parking garages. You can scare the sh*t out of people. It is loud. But it sounds just the way you want it. You can hear the cam, it sounds good. I never had anyone say it's too loud when they ride in it. no drone.

Enjoy,

Great info, thanks all! - I'll make sure and check them all out. Do any of you have experience with the Billy Boat system??

Also - I have some options with CAI's. I've researched the Volant system and also the Mopar intake with K&N filter tip. What are you guys running? What is adding power?

I kinda like the OEM exhaust. I have had a few cars with loud exhaust and feel as though I have grown out of it. I like to be able to hear music while driving and also be able to have a phone convorsation without a loud exhaust drone in the background.

If so, get the Borla Touring when you want more performance, not louder than stock, just different but the engine really wakes up, no restriction anymore. The Sleeper of the group.

You can have a normal cabin conversation, phone conversation, and hear the radio with the Borla S and it rocks. My neighbor claims I vibrate her house when I fire the GC up...lol. Luv it!!!!!

now that exhaust is covered - is there a preference for intakes?? I have heard some good things about the volant and mopar with K&N filter - what are you guys liking??

You think you get a noticeable gain in pickup??

either volant or bwoody

the bwoody looks very promising but im holding off for some dyno #s of track #s

of course the k&n drop in might even be just as good
