: GDCARMA getting new heads from LPM
My ported heads were probably a set of the first dozen that were done back in 2007. Been having a small coolant loss issue and with the help of coolant dye the cause was determined. The Jeep is at Blue Collar Performance here in Detroit and after the problem was discovered the question to me was repair or new heads... So glad I have Chris's cell phone number :D
LPM will be preparing a set of "Mac-Daddy" heads purposely built for my high boost supercharged motor.
I may have mis-understood Chris, but I think he said he could have them in 7 days... http://deephousepage.com/smilies/rofl5.gif

HoustonHemi 09-11-2011, 10:59 AM 7 days wow. I'm on over a month just to get a ported intake right now and no sign of it on the horizon. Must be nice to be on the valued customer list! (to be clear I am not waiting on LPM for this intake.)
J&D's SRT's 09-11-2011, 11:28 AM Nice Brian, not that the heads you have aren't good ones. But with all the advances in head work over the years since you got them they should add you a few nice ponies. What heads did you go with the Eagle, Apache or 6.1?
Jim
Chris Hull@TTC 09-11-2011, 11:34 AM It seems to me that Lewis Performance Machine is the best kept secret on this forum!!
Joe Lewis is a Master engine builder and will never compromise on quality.
He can build you a motor for whatever you want. I'm looking forward to pushing one of Joe
And Chris's motors to the edge!!
mondo 09-11-2011, 11:55 AM Nice. It's good to hear there's company's out there that get their product out in a reasonable time! Looking forward to hearing the results!!!!!!!
jps043 09-11-2011, 12:17 PM Congrats Brian, I was unaware you were having this problem in the first place but I am definitely interested to hear what happens with the new heads.

As I said... Maybe I mis-understoon Chris... http://deephousepage.com/smilies/rofl5.gif I'm guessing it will be at least 2-3 weeks.

The old faithful 6.1 heads. Joey and Chris know all about my set-up so everything that goes into this heads is at their discretion.

No question. There are cheaper motor's out there but none stronger then a LPM. Its all about paying attention to the details. That's were Joey shines! So instead if telling everyone about them, maybe we should keep this between ourselves http://deephousepage.com/smilies/listen2.gif Haha!!!
retro-king 09-11-2011, 04:19 PM Gald to see you making your way to LPM! LOL! You won't be disappointed!
Congrats Brian, I was unaware you were having this problem in the first place but I am definitely interested to hear what happens with the new heads.

Blown-WK 09-20-2011, 06:26 PM Nice Bri....LPM ftw
The heads looked totally amazing when they arrived. Joey put some MoJo into them babies!! I didn't post anything prior to the Virginia event thinking I'll let the results speak for themselves. Well they made a huge difference! My new PB is now 9.56@144.55 with these LPM heads. Thanks Chris and Joe!! With those kind of results I think I will be sending you the entire motor in the very near future!!
hawkman996 10-09-2011, 06:47 PM I'd definitely say they were working!
Thanks Brian for the video!!

SICK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:eek::eek::eek::eek:: eek:
Blown-WK 10-10-2011, 08:59 AM That was an amazing run Brian. The people in the stands were in disbelief..lol.
JerseyBoy@Stage6 10-10-2011, 09:07 AM Those heads are AMAZING. To pick up 6mph with just a head change and 5 degrees LESS timing is incredible. I went into the weekend with the hopes of running a 9.7x. First hit off the trailer with full interior it ran a 9.69! Best of the weekend was 9.56@144.5 on just the second run. Brian backed it up on the third run with a 9.59. All at only 17psi of boost. No games, no tricks, no hidden nitrous system. Just all boost and BJBs heavy right foot (he has the driving record to prove it too! LOL). To say I am impressed is an understatement. Thanks to Joe and Chris for all the hard work on getting these heads together and shipped out in time for the event. In Ohio I told a few of you that I didnt think we had enough to run with Bill and Chris with thier turbo trucks but after this weekend, I'm not so sure about that! I'm looking forward to working with them more in the future. They definetly know thier stuff!

It was funny because I was sitting behind some guys when Keoni ripped off one of his 9.89s and they flipped out. They said he must be the fastest Jeep there. Then Brian pulled up right after him and I told them "Watch this" ;-) They about fell out of thier seats! It weas great having so many guys running so well this weekend. Atco will be off the hook!

mondo 10-10-2011, 10:37 AM Sounds like those heads awesome! Congrats on the kicka$$ runs!
