Wow! That desert sand looks harsh... I can only imagine the scratching on the exterior as you tool around. I ordered the bright red also, yesterday.
Enjoy,

I have been there and yes it is harsh.....
That sand gets into everything....The sand storms are brutal too...
I once almost got caught up in a sand storm while climbing a tower.
I was about 120ft up when I saw it in the horizon and moving my direction very fast. I got down and into shelter right before it hit. It would have sand blasted my AZZ right off that tower.

I installed mine the other day. It wasn't too hard. I removed the grill so I could remove one of the plastic pieces from the OEM box. The fit and finish of the bwoody parts is excellent. Even the clamps are ultra high quality. I disconnected the negative battery terminal first. I also moved the coolant container temporarily to get to an OEM box bolt.

Why would you disconnect the battery?

because if you don't your gonna throw a code from unplugging the iat sensor.
