Rambit 08-30-2011, 07:39 PM http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v615/HEMEEE/Forum%20Graphics/srtchat-2.jpg
I'm pleased to announce that Cherokeesrt8.com has been asked to participate in a live web chat on Thursday, September 1, 2011 beginning at 6 PM Eastern and is scheduled to run until 8 PM.
This chat session will be with SRT CEO Ralph Gilles plus some SRT engineers. The link is already set up where you will be able to participate or watch - http://www.cherokeesrt8.com/forums/showthread.php?t=56585. I have a feeling there'll be many questions regarding the WK2 pricing!
Although this chat session will moderated by SRT completely, please follow the general rules of previous sessions by keeping questions specific to SRT, allowing them time to respond and understanding they will not answer questions regarding future product. See you THERE!
August 29, 2011 11:45 AM - Please join Ralph Gilles, Pres. and CEO, SRT Brand and Motorsports, along with several members of the SRT engineering team for a webchat on Thursday, Sept. 1 from 6pm-8pm EDT. They'll discuss the status of Chrysler Group's newest standalone brand and take your questions. Hope you can join us!

Rambit 09-01-2011, 10:21 AM Friendly reminder bump for this evening's web chat. I heard it through the grapevine there might be some dissention within the ranks. Pitchforks will be issued this afternoon, but they're rubber tipped.

No, they changed to that a few years ago for the factory fill, but I'm still using Mobile 1.

0W-40, but there was a TSB out a few years to use 15W50 in warmer months to prevent oil cooler jets from fluttering. I never bothered changing and the whining sound was only noticable during idle under hot conditions.
This is taken from a post by ResumeSpeed on 300cforums...
If a customer complains about this sound, it should be noted that no detrimental effect or engine durability is caused by the jets fluttering. If the customer wants this noise eliminated, it is recommended to use 15W50 Mobil One engine oil in warmer (summer) months and revert back to 0W40 Mobile One engine oil in cooler (winter) months. If the oil viscosity is changed, a label indicating this should be installed. Clean the engine cover with an appropriate solvent on the flat area in front of the oil cap and apply the viscosity label pn 68024493AA.
