: This is what 3 hours of work gets you...
CMYKGUY 07-22-2007, 05:13 PM Some serious driveway candy. As you can see, I do not live in a "rich" neighborhood so when I spend half the day detailing my phallic symbols, I get a lot of attention
Too bad either dust or me driving one of them somewhere will get them filthy again. I love spending time cleaning these things.
How long do you guys spend on average each weekend (or weekday) cleaning your rides?
navyavi469 07-22-2007, 05:22 PM I like your setup :) However, a Z06 would have made me ditch my 22 y/o 106lb, Dcup, blonde florida girlfriend and move in with you.
MatFab 07-22-2007, 05:22 PM try living on a dirt road then we will talk about detailing daily...
T-Time 07-22-2007, 05:23 PM I can't track time when I'm cleaning the beast.:D
I can tell you I'm wiping brake dust twice daily. I love to see these rims reflect off fellow driver's foreheads.:D
T:cool:
dukie748 07-22-2007, 07:48 PM Thanks CMYK Guy - my Jeep hasn't be cleaned in almost 3 weeks, I feel guilty now.
DRIHEAT 07-22-2007, 08:00 PM You "black" guys are gluttons for punishment. I clean mine as little as possible. I like driving.
Ronin 07-22-2007, 08:09 PM Nicely done! I'm with Dukie too, thanks for the guilt trip!
SWEET Vette too...

Bullet 07-23-2007, 01:17 AM im with T-Time, i clean the wheels daily, i dont know about everyone else with black jeeps but mine has a coat of dust on it everyday so i also use the california car duster (ITS AMAZING)
HoustonSRT-8 07-23-2007, 09:19 AM Nice work. My beauties seriously need cleaning, but with being in the middle of selling my current house and buying a new one, I don't have much time for them. :(
OurZoo 07-23-2007, 09:36 AM Btw 3 hours is pretty damn good. It would take me longer lol.
RUDE8 07-23-2007, 12:27 PM This is an absolute MUST if you are driving Black . . .
slow91 07-23-2007, 12:31 PM I have washed or wiped mine down EVERY DAY since I drove it home.......:o :D
Usually takes me 45 minutes if I wash or 30 minutes if I wipe it down and clean the wheels.
Noddings 07-23-2007, 01:36 PM Yeah I wish it only took me 3 hours... every week I do a full exterior and interior detail. I wash the body, undercarrage, wheelwells, roof, etc. Wax every thing from the wheels to the windows. Clean and condition my interior. then I repeat the process the next day (if its open). Soon i'll be doing these same steps on a brand new 08 SRT8. I Can't wait :D
Edit:
here are some pics of my current car. (about 4-7 hours a weekend)

CMYKGUY 07-23-2007, 02:08 PM I concur, the duster is a blessing. Do those things ever wear out? I mean, the oil in the fabric, does it wear down? Then, do you just tooss it ad buy another or what? I also have a new Eclipse (black, of course) that I use it on so it gets a serious workout.
I really wish the rims were chrome on the Yeep. I have never been a fan of the polished look. Even when clean, they still look slightly clouded. I'm just a sucker for nice t*ts and shiney rims, what can I say.
a-kon 07-23-2007, 02:12 PM A viper would look a little more fitting next to the Srt-8, both being limited production vehicles.
But the the vette isnt too shabby.
Nice rides!
HoustonSRT-8 07-23-2007, 03:05 PM I think you guys would vote me off the board if you saw how dirty my GC was. :o
Noddings 07-23-2007, 03:21 PM posted some pics from last winter. It looks alot better now :)
