I roll up in my jeep to a chevy dealer today where they were having a 'cruise with muscle cars' show. There were about 8 vettes, mostly older, some new in front of the dealer but no other cars, so I drive up to the radio station DJ and ask if this was a chevy thing only. He proceeds to tell me that it is open to anyone, SO IF I HAD SOMETHING I WANTED TO BRING UP TO GO GET IT...
I know I made a face when he said it, then I replied - have you ever seen a 5000lbs jeep get to 60 in 3.7 seconds. He says NO. I said, this one will...In fact this 550 HP (est., I haven't dynoed since the work) jeep will probably beat just about everything you have on the lot! He said, well I have a z06 coming that will do 190mph, I said this should get to close to 180mph and it weighs 5000 lbs!!!
I parked and hung out for a while, later on I go to look at a sweet red z06 that is supercharged. I walk up and I hear "0-60 right?!" I said what? He says that jeep is supposed to be quick to 60, wanna run? I look at his vette, then I peak at his back tires and say, 'are those street tires?'. He said YUP. So I said yes, yes I do wanna run, right out front of the dealer in front of everyone. LOL I said you might get me on the highway but I'll own your ass to 60!!!
Just thought I would share, I met some great people there and chatted with some nice vette owners. Just a shame they don't know what these are capable of, especially with heads, cam, etc.

JT what do you have done for the 550? I have 508 whp and the dashhawk tells me 3.2 0-60 with my old tune and a bit of traction control kickin.

You would have waisted that vette to about 80 or so, would have been a good race!!

Sorry guys for the late response. He didn't want to race. He spent a pretty penny for callaway to slap on the supercharger, I don't think he wanted to be embarrassed in front of a chevy dealer. Please don't get me wrong, I bet that car is a beast - much more overall than my jeep but to 60, he wouldn't have been able to keep up, not with street tires.

Hey Fast - I sent my truck to HHP, had their stage II kit installed (heads, cam, intake, kooks headers, high flow cats, dub cold air, magnaflow, B&G stage II on spare PCM, 2800 stall converter, GSM fan mod and torque mod switches). I'm not sure what it'll dyno, but HHP says somewhere around 550 - close to 600. I think I'm on the lower end, jeep doesn't seem to be running like it should - Josh is gonna take a look at it in a few weeks, also gonna take it to the dyno as soon as work slows down and get some #s to compare to stock.

Yea i would like to see the #'s I have almost the same setup as you minus the stall and plus the ASM vortech. I will be very impressed if you get 550 at the wheels. I might have to change setups!!

Like i said, mine only topped out at 508WHP with your setup plus the forced induction.

Sorry FAST for not clarifying - I am talking crank horse power. On an AWD mustang dyno, I wouldn't expect much over 385 at the wheels.

It only about a 20-24% drivetrain loss. You should be much higher. My stock Dyno was 330 something and others have been 360's stock. You should get over 100HP out of your upgrades!! My guess is in the low 400's at the wheels!

I didn't think that many people dyno'd on an AWD mustang dyno. I thought most of the #s were from 2WD dynojets. From what the guy told me that has the dyno, the AWD drivetrain loss is closer to 30 - 35%. At least that is what he said the subaru guys were finding comparing chassis dyno to engine dyno. On the (AWD mustang dyno), I only put down 313WHP with dub cai and magnaflow. Some people were saying #s would be higher on a 2WD dynojet. I have limited experience on dyno's so I am open for education.
