I have been riding a 04' ZX-12 since new, 25K since. I'm 6' 3" @ 200l.b.s very comfortable and FAST. If you want a bike that can do 9's, what about the new 14...your wasting your time on the 1K, more of a GP track bike out of the box.

im not a fan of the look of the 14... i have to love the look... and the 1kcc bikes are fast enough for me.... if i were to buy a second bike i would go for a 14... they are sooo fast

i actually have the exact bike in the photo- mines an 07 and i have full yosh exhaust and a power commander--it has alot more down low then my 06 R1--but after 7 grand the power really lays it on you--i might actually be dumping it for an 08 ducati 1098s--i also have an 07 pearl white ZX-14 and to be honest with you they are to tooootally diffrent bikes--i would say the R1 is more fun to ride but the ZX is a better bike to go for a ride--and even with all the stuff done to my R1 in a straight like the ZX would own it---good luck with whatever you choice and stay safe

I think that bike is so nice (really fast), but if your a beginner i think its to much power. How long have you been riding for?

R1, GXR 1K, ZX-12/14 all great bikes. Over the weekend, I stopped by the dealer for odds and ends and he showed me the new brochure for the Busa. Killer paint schemes(Blu/Blk, White/red, Blk,blk.,Burnt orange/blk.), 20 h.p over the lastest model. I would hop on one but I just can't get past the looks of the tail end, regardless of the integrated turn signals...Although the jury is out until I see it in person!;)

How much do you want for the cbr600, my buddy has one for sale with 30 miles for 6g, 07 black
