Congratulations! If you plan to mod, post pics of the upgrades; if not, you should still post a few pics of the SRT8 every once and a while with a nice background. Even better, post links to some videos! Good luck and keep the shiny side up!

Mine was $40969 (sticker was ~$46100). My first mod will be the GS ESP delete mod. It completely disables the traction control. Next I want a cat back, something that has no drone in the cabin. Any suggestions?

I bet the people who paid 5K plus over MSRP are feeling ill right about now. Talk about instant depreciation. I'm glad I haggled just about down to dealer invoice when I bought mine, it doesn't hurt quite as much.

I paid 2k under sticker, got mine the month before all this EP stuff. I would have paid sticker and still felt OK about it. It's a nice truck and worth the money, to me at least.

Well, you had to think this would happen after the 07 production started if they were finding that units in some locations were not moving.

I pick mine up tonight. Sticker was $45,990.....EP $40,993!

Plus, my credit union rate for the loan is 5.99%, which isn't too bad these days :)

I believe the saying goes........."Good things come to those who wait".

Don't get too upset though, you still got $1K off sticker when many others had been paying $5K-$10K OVER sticker

This has happened with every SRT product in the line. The Rams, Vipers, Chargers, 300's and Jeeps were all selling for way over MSRP. Certain people love to be an adopter of a new car and are willing to pay the price. Hell, I have.
The jeep is the first srt product that I waited for awhile before I purchased.

in Canada I don't know about the US but Jeep SRT8's don't qualify for employee pricing anymore. They changed the rules this week.

Question to you......why are you waiting for the 07's to START arriving when you can get an 06 (with just about everything the 07's have) for $5K under sticker???

Because frankly...I cannot afford it right now. I am in the process of closing on a house and then moving from NY to Charleston, SC for 6 months of school. I will get it down there and not pay NY tax. Hopefully, being a returning customer...and military...I will be able to get a deal down there. Maybe this employee pricing will continue...I haven't heard of it stopping anytime soon.

Actually, mcopare, the EP pricing on the SRT vehicles is only on in-stock vehicles and ends at the end of the month. . .sorry bud!

Any west coast dealers that people can reccomend that have SRT8's in stock. Everywhere I look online is still asking way over MSRP, and claim that employee pricing ins't available on SRT8's.

Im in Hawaii, forget the dealers here. worthless.

Just check the Jeep website and search the inventory throughout CA. As for not honoring EP, the dealer can do this, but if the dealer takes part in the EP program this month on all his other vehicles, he is NOT allowed to sell ANY (including the GC SRT8) over the EP price. Now, they can refuse to sell the vehicle, that's up to them, but they are going to pay another month's interest to keep it on the lot.

I called DCX rebate center, and they told me any dealer that sells above the EP price this month will be caught by their auditors and charged back.

BadBoy - You've been away from the board for awhile, haven't you? :o

This month SRT8's are included in DCX Employee Pricing program. Just picked mine up the other day for $5K off MSRP which equated to well under invoice :D

When the SRT8 first hit the show room floors and were $3-5K over MSRP there was no way I could afford one. I was going to wait and order a no option truck for MSRP ($39999). This was the only way it would work for me. I couldn't afford even a loaded truck for MSRP, all these trucks were ordered at least with the option 1 package. It seemed to work out perfect for me, I got a loaded truck for what I originally planned on spending (well only $970 more). :D I also purchased a total of 5/60 Chrysler extended warranty for an additional $995. It was only a few more dollars a month, kinda a no brainer for me.
