I'm looking to get my paint code loaded in a rattle can to finish my rocker panel. Any of you guys know of any Denver metro vendors that mix your paint in a rattle can? I contacted FinishMasters and it's a no go...they leaked out that they're is a place local but they couldn't remember who did it....I've heard PepBoys loads rattles....had anyone ever gotten this done?

I'd call Christopher Dodge Collision Center. Ask for Brian. Those guys are really cool and could probably fix you up, or give you a referral. They matched my paint exactly.

Meets have been harder to come buy lately. Same old story. Getting everyone to agree on a time and place. But we had a decent turnout at Bandi a few weeks ago. Me, I'm out there every Wed they'll let me play. Still chasing lower numbers. Where you been hiding?

Yeah I hear ya, glad they're still running Wed's...you recently got some motor work done in the spring right? Cam, and Ice cooler? I recently started a new job in LODO....and I took a month off in June to enjoy CO, traveled, fished, biked...just soaked up some good old R&R with the wifey and poochies...it was refreshing to say the least...

Congrats on the new gig, and a month off to boot. We need to put something together soon. A mountain cruise would be cool. I suggested a route a while back but nothing came of it. If nothing else, come on out to Bandi. There's usually a few Jeeps there.

Yeah the month was nice...flew by like it was a week tho...everyone sometime in their lives should have a month off....really refreshs ya...especially for the workaholics!

Only new thing on the Jeep will be the Medic 2 hood that should be here in Sept...no motor updates yet...I'd like to go cam/headers...but unless I move out of the metro area I'll have those dreaded emmision blues :(, the wifey wouldn't mind moving out to Jeffco....since she works in Morrison. You don't have emmisions like we do in the Denver/Adams right?

Morrison is nice and quiet, other than the Bandi part. ;) Always wondered how much the cliff stops the noise from the track for the neighborhood above... But it's got that little mountain village vibe. Not sure about taxes though. Didn't look that far south when I was house hunting. Golden had the lowest of the areas I did check out (Arvada, Lakewood, etc.). Plus our offices are here, so it made the most sense for me. Nice and quiet out here in the sticks. :cool:

I really don't know how bad the emissions are in Jeffco. I haven't kept a car long enough to need testing yet. The Jeep will be the first, since I couldn't imagine selling it, ever. I think it's the same though. You get a notice and have to drive by two different mobile test stations in a certain period of time. If you pass those, you're done. If not, you go on the dyno for testing. I know the Springs doesn't have any testing. Nice area, but it would be quite a commute.
