OurZoo 07-13-2007, 08:43 PM I'm too lazy to register, but why don't you tell him I said "drive one or shut the fck up"!
CMYKGUY 07-13-2007, 09:38 PM This guy's profile is as follows: We'll call him Melvin
He grew up as a slightly smaller than average boy. He wasn't very athletic so he didn't join any sports. His parents were upper middle class so he went to a high school where the rich kids got everything they want, including the hot girls, who wouldn't even look at him. His awkwardness turned to subtle anger as he realized he would never be one of those guys. He developed more mentally and started to try to out-wit his fellow peers but when push came to shove (literally), he would get his azz whooped when he opened his mouth.
After high school, his mild depression kept him from being motivated enough to persue any decent college like his class mates. He took a year off and then got a job as a bowling alley manager. Making about $12 an hour, he bought a Z28 Camaro from one of his fellow employees. At the age of 19, he finally felt cool. Without a mechanical bone in his body, he would buy performance parts at full price and pay a shop to install them. When his high school mates would come home from college over the breaks, he was sure to be seen "cruising" in his sweet ride.
As time passed, his Camaro (and him) were going nowhere fast. His step dad got him a job hanging drywall. He traded in his Z for a 4x4 Silverado so he could attempt to hang with "the guys" at work.
With his childhood acne still present, he had no luck with the ladies. This and his self loathing realization that he wasn't really going anywhere, made him turn to the magical box of lights called a computer. Upon discovering the internet, he stopped hanging out with friends all together. He would come home from work after stopping at 7-11 to grab a 12'er of Natural Light for dinner and check his myspace account. Unsuccessful with online dating (because he was too scared to actually go on a physical date), he choose to join forums.
FINALLY!!! He was able to live out as his alterego. He would lash out at people who made fictional presumptions about facts such as true power and resale value. He would pull out his dictionary and commence the verbal lashings.
This makes him feel powerful. He enjoys fighting behind the faceless screen of his mom's Dell. No one can hurt him because his overdeveloped (and useless) vocabulary would cause people to cease there debates and thus, he would win.
This is where he is now, sitting in his mom's house, one hand in a bag of cheetos and another pecking away at his keyboard. His victim tonight: A guy who claims he hooked up a leafblower to his intake and swears he feels more power!
Melvin is setting him straight about why that doesn't work, as we speak.
CMYKGUY 07-13-2007, 09:38 PM -No "Melvin" is not really me and YES- I am bored.

kramsay1234 07-14-2007, 08:11 AM That is hilarious. is it cbaston???
NateO 07-14-2007, 11:23 AM He's just another troll.
I don't get it, don't like it? Fine! Why do you need to post 3 pages worth of posts about a vehicle you don't like? Say your peace, then take your Overland and drive it off a cliff, already! ;)
MatFab 07-14-2007, 11:53 AM He's just another troll.

it sounds like he couldn't afford it... starts out by talking how rich he is but curious why he spends so much time on a normal jeep site when he has so many amazing vehicles...
NateO 07-14-2007, 12:00 PM Sounds to me like he wants to stir the pot, versus adding *anything* of value. That dude is classic internet troll:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Internet_troll
I mean, how full of [censored] do you have to be? Everyone and their mother, publications, people at the tracks, etc... Know the JGC SRT8 is a low to mid 13 second vehicle in the 1/4 and this dude knows for sure that everyone is wrong and that it's a 14 second vehicle?
That's such a hot load of ****amamie balderdash it isn't even funny. Don't feed the trolls. Plonk!
Inferno SRT8 07-14-2007, 12:02 PM Ill spank the living sh*t out of that CLK55 that douchbag needs a wake up call.
BigC1086 07-14-2007, 12:29 PM He seems like a bored 12 year old. I've driven SL55, CLS55, E55, and a CLK500. Sure, they're quick cars, but when I think of a fast daily driver, I want something practical. Ever tried to put a guitar amp in the trunk of a coupe? I had a 500 rwhp 03 Cobra that I sold last summer, and it would spank the **** out of all those AMG's in a straight line, and on a dry road course could hold its own. Since he likes comparing apples to oranges...why can't any of his cars keep up with my CBR1000RR? It's bone stock!

Exactly, he just another pissed off net troll.
OurZoo 07-14-2007, 02:36 PM That fictional or not so fictional profile is awesome! Lol.
CMYKGUY 07-14-2007, 05:00 PM He reminds me of some of the d-bags I have known from around the block growing up.
Amazing how angry someone can get on a car forum. It's not politics or religion. I know many are passionate about their vehicles but to that degree? He probably is either a 32 year old perv or a 12 year old boy...
Oh well, all the college kids are back from school, I'ma take a spin on down by the local Dairy Queen and see what's up. Catch y'all on the flip side
HoustonSRT-8 07-15-2007, 10:10 AM Registering on another forum to "defend" your beliefs on your own vehicle is a waste of time. The person who needs schooling will never listen.
