Just bought my first 1911. Its a Kimber CDP II Pro

I also have 1000 magtek 230g bullets, 6 magazines, and 100 golden saber bullets heading this way. Plan on breaking this in next weekend and Im pretty pumped. The golden sabers will be for home defense. I still need to go get my permit to carry sometime this week, but that shouldnt be too difficult in Alabama.

In NY its a long, drawn out process to get a pistol carry permit. I'm a fan of long guns:

I have my LTC here in Mass and non resident in many other states. Kimber is an excellent choice. I will add one to my collection some day. I first shot a Kimber custom last week and was very impressed. Is that the 4" barrel?

I am a fellow Kimber carrying American, I have several 1911, along with a hand full of Custom AR15, you build sick Engines, I build Sick AR15, comp and hunting rifles, from custom barrels, paint, and anything in between, i do it!

I carry the same Walther daily. IMO its pretty accurate for having only a 3" barrel.

I carry my Glock 23C or my Sig Sauer P39 daily both are .40 cal. hollow points.
Earning for a 1911, which are the best pistols ever made IMO.

Nice piece, although Tommy Lee Jones would tell you to get a Glock and lose the nickel-plated sissy pistol.

I've got some fine german steel (well half of it is steel anyway): Walther P99 in 9mm. And a Marine Magnum Remington 870 12 gauge. Of course, this is Canada so they are for target shooting.
