OK, here it is. We are debuting a new 386ci stroker for guys that are looking for endurance motors either for long-term daily driver use or for road-course racing. To celebrate this, we will be selling the first 3 at ridiculously low pricing. Here is what you get.
OEM Mopar Block
Custom Grind crankshaft
Ion Nitriding of the crankshaft
H-Beam connecting rods with upgraded rod bolts
Custom JE Pistons
DLC coated wrist pins
Eagle Mean Street Heads for NA Applications
Apache Mean Street Heads for boosted Applications
Your choice of camshaft
OEM Timing chain
Forged Pushrods
OEM rockers, gaskets, and hardware
You are getting a 386ci longblock using lots of custom parts and the first 3 will be sold for $5000 plus cores. These will normally sell for $9000 but I want to prove their capability before slapping such a high price tag on them.
For boosted applications, I want to keep the power level below 700rwhp only because these are intended for endurance and longevity. We will offer a 5 year/50,000 mile warranty on these specific motors.
Compression is 9.5:1 with Apache heads and 10.5:1 with Eagle heads. Add a ported intake and supporting mods and this motor will see 485rwhp pretty easily depending on the dyno and possibly even 500rwhp.
If someone wants to send us their Jeep, it will be $7000 installed/tuned and ready to go.
Next post will be the next big deal.

You sure on the number of 386 and not 368
368 would be less than stock. More bore and stroke. I promise its 386. :)
Final displacement will be 386-387.

My little birdie was dyslexic. LOL. Have a cam shaft in mind for me?
FrP-219
Overdrive ATI Balancer to spin the blower faster and then let it eat. With the new Apache heads that thing should really fill the cylinders well.

Is it a forged PWR & Stage 6 turbo kit making 1000whp installed for 12k?
I'd have to say I did pretty good on the guess there. May have just been a shot in the dark but I did try to be somewhat realistic with my price. Also only crank HP not to the wheels but still 1000hp. I think I should win a prize for that one, maybe a couple of stickers at least, LOL.
That first offer is very VERY tempting. I'm sure they wont last. Wish my customers would pay up for all the extra work I've done the past 3wks.

Actually Jim, you planted the idea in Andy's head. We had even talked about it nor even thought about it until you said something. We can make something hit 1K to the wheels. Just upgrade a few things.;):D

Kinda off topic but as soon I can get down to Lingenfelters & talk to them about putting a cam in I'll be hitting you up for a cam, springs, pushrods & gaskets. Kind of a complete install kit if you can do that.

Yeh that's a heck of a deal, all of them are. I'll admit I did briefly think about cutting open the mattress for that turbo. The supporting driveline mods for that much power are a deal breaker. I'm sure I'll kick myself once I see the 3rd 386 sold though.

Running around with what 2lbs of boost would be like someone put training wheels on it. That is definitely one HECK of an idea however. The only problem with that Joel, it would be IMPOSSIBLE for me not to turn that boost up. Wonder if my wife would cut them both off or just one?

Come on Jim, you have a spare trans and Tcase sitting in the garage right next to yours ;) We can set you up with enough adjustability so you can run 2-3psi with the boost controller off, then adjust it up to 6psi for the occasional late night test ;)
J
Harrison@Stage6 07-02-2011, 12:52 PM Problem is Joel.... his wife would want one too!!
J&D's SRT's 07-02-2011, 01:14 PM It is getting harder to talk myself out of it. I would love to have one of them turbos. As for Dawn she gets herself in enough trouble stock. 70+ in a 35 & no ticket, glad she didn't get one but that's some BS. I'm sure I'll pull trigger on one hear sometime soon.
JerseyBoy@Stage6 07-02-2011, 05:09 PM Maybe they will give u a package deal on doing two Jim ;)
