Introducing the Arrington SR2 Cam Shaft


Arrington Performance offers a new camshaft with more performance
than the current X-Series cams.


This Camshaft was designed using the
state of the art virtual modeling and prototyping reserved until now
for only top-tier professional race teams. After the prototype HEMI cam
is manufactured, it's sent to the dyno for the real testing to begin.

This all billet Steel Core Camshaft is fitted to be a direct replacement
for stock 6.1 HEMIs and a replacement with spring upgrades
for 08 and back 5.7 HEMIs. Every lobe of this HEMI Camshaft
was created from the valve - as opposed to our competitor’s process
which designs based on the lobe. This "top down" design methodology
considers the entire HEMI valvetrain system instead of simply the camshaft lobe.


Additionally, the valve motion was designed, tested and evaluated at the valve
which is what the engine actually utilizes to produce efficiency, performance
and power - valve motion, not cam motion. Not a single lobe was designed
without full knowledge of the entire HEMI valvetrain including each and every
component. That is the only way we have ultimate control over the quality
of the results. The Next Generation Camshaft 6 months in development,
proves to offer ‘30% less stress’ on the valve train.
