When u guys do a hand wax/polish. Do u wax first then polish? Or polish then wax? Does it matter?

Depends, what products are you using?

Usually mguires or mothers hard wax then maybee a soft liguid polish like liquid glass

I polish first and then apply the wax.

+1, polish first, then wax.

Polish cleans/preps the surface...wax protects.

what everyone else is saying... polish, then wax. The polish gets out all the light swirl marks and scratches, and the wax protects it all. Also, if you're starting to get alot of swirl marks you can do a couple things, use a clay bar to get them out, or get some 3000 grit sandpaper and wet sand. then polish/wax polish/wax polish/wax and you will have a super smooth super shiny paint job!
