TAKE ADVANTAGE OF ENERGY DEREGULATION!!!!! SAVE $$$$

Senate bill 9 was passed in 1999 to deregulate the energy grid in Texas. Finally, the monopolies are broken down, and the greedy margins are being exposed by the competition . In 2002, the market was open for competition. The method of delivery/ repairs is still regulated by ERCOT to ensure safety and quality repair for all customers. This simply means that the energy providers are JUST billing companies buying energy off the "main grid", marking it up, and billing you for it thats it, thats all they do. Why pay former monopolies higher margins for the same exact product and service? Save like me, and switch to STREAM energy TODAY!!!!! 12.3 PKh is what i got through this site. (was paying TXU 13.4 pkh) took me five min. and saved nearly 45$ on my bill!!! im a new member and new owner of a black srt-8. I didn't think my first post would be about electricity, but ousrt8 is not kidding around. I switched to stream 3 months ago saved 80-85$ on my last three bills! The crazy thing is how easy it was. I literally clicked enroll for service, entered my zip, area code esi i.d # off my txu bill, and that was pretty much it. I did one year fixed rate.... But u can cancle with 30 days notice at any time! Hell of a deal! Now excuse me, im going to go get some great ideas for future mods off this forum!!!

HAHA...... thats exactly how i felt.... i was so sketchy about changing because i had been with TXU forever, cause it was the only choice i had. Finally I signed up, after hearing about it through my buddy. Saving ever since! Crazy how we are scared to switch from a company thats overcharging!!! haha

I changed over a year ago, First Choice---12.9 KWH. Screw TXU, they have had it their way, far to long! GC

With first choice you are cutting out a little margin, but with Stream you will be paying 12.3 PKH. Lowest on the market in Texas! Your right they have had it their way for TOO long!

I just quit reliant and am with green mountain. PAying 14.2 and I honestly dont care. at least they are less poluting, although I am by no means a tree hugger.
