: Should we name our camshafts?

With so many cute names for camshafts, should I be naming our camshafts? If so, any ideas? I have way too many camshafts and coming up with names is difficult so I just refer to them as a number. These are my current active camshafts

At-212

Fr-219
Fr-223

Should I leave those names or come up with names?

That Fr-219 is a slightly modified 220. If you just want to view products, go to our photobucket page. Tons of images there.

Damn Andy.... didn't realize you offered so many cam variants. Aside from the intake duration #'s, what are the differences between the At, Fr, FrP, and FrT series? Not sure which cam the PW-240 would most closely mirror from the list above, but I suppose you could rename it the 'maineiac'?

At: Less lift and slower ramp rates. These are for guys wanting to use stock springs.

Fr: These are our signature camshafts with much more aggressive lobes. Aftermarket heads capable of handling .625" are required.

FrP: Same as above but for Supercharged and nitrous applications. Can be use with some Turbo kits.

FrT: Turbo specific.

andy, the functional naming makes sense, the squidspud, turdburglar, catamite cam naming stuff seems a little over the top. CamMotion, a private shop up the road a bit from me that cuts cams for "just a few" NHRA teams, just gives them an order number and a spec number. Yours looks to incorporate function, so that makes sense.
