Well about a month ago, I took my jeep in for the rear brake TSB. they did not have them when i initially stopped in so they told me they would call me when they got the pads in (they said it would only take a day or so). well needless to say after waiting for 5 days without a call, i called the service manager and asked if they came in and if i could set up an appointment to get it fixed. he said "oh ya they are in" so we set up an appointment. everything was hunky dorey with the brakes for about 700 miles or so. i kinda just brushed it off that they didnt call me and just moved on with it. i took it back in two weeks ago because the brakes were still squealin like a pig. the service manager said this time it wasnt really coming from the rear brakes, but from the front. again, they didnt have them in so he told me the same thing that he would call me when they got the new front pads in. last week i gave them the benefit of the doubt because of the holiday, but im really startin to get ticked off. its been 2 damn weeks now and they still havent called! im about to put a size 12 where the sun dont shine. anybody experience this problem at all with their service department? any suggestions on what i should do? i cant stand when people tell you something and then dont do it. For all you Chicago owners, what dealerships are you going to and are you happy with them. Im getting to the point where i dont really care if i have to drive some extra miles to get some good service.
i will step off my soapbox now. thank you
