if you gave your truck a 1.21 jigawatt blast, I would expect no less...

I actually did (2) 1.21 jigawatt blasts, one via lightning and one via a 220 volt receptacle (221 volts if you saw Mr. Mom). MPG has been steady eddy at 35 since.

He is saying that he hit the reset button on his MPG computer feature and then he went down a hill or was coasting. Just my guess....

2007GCSRT8 - You are correct.

The point of the thread is that even if one has a real picture (no photoshop) that the results can/should be questioned. There have been a lot of threads lately with arguing back and forth over nonsense instead of having real discussion and it's getting old. Everyone should be able to post their opinions, facts and experiences without being personally attacked. OK, I'm done, gotta get more coffee.

Enjoy the 35 mpg picture. Bring it to your dealer and ask for the new mpg TSB.

Nope. This thread has nothing to do with you. All I'm saying is folks should not be attacked or criticized for posting their experiences. There has been a lot of that lately in many threads. If I had a concern about the legitimacy of anything that has been posted by anyone, I would ask some clarifying questions in the thread to determine how the experience could benefit me, be duplicated, be ignored, etc.

In this thread, I posted an experience which was clearly displayed as a joke or not legit (i.e. I mentioned a flux capacitor mod which is from the Back to the Future movie used in the Dolorean).

There's no reason to attack anyone, but if you're going to post your opinions they're going to get criticized, period. People have to realize that most the time IT'S NOT PERSONAL, it's just others expressing their opinion also. The Dash Hawk thread is a perfect example. Timster and I believe different things, but it's not personal, it's just two differing opinions and a search for truth. As soon as Timster started to curse at me :D I worked my way out of the thread because at that point it's not worth it. I'm not here to make enemies, I'm here to talk truck and maybe make a few friends. So if you're going to post your opinions, experiences, numbers, etc. they will get criticized and there's nothing wrong with that. Try to realized that sometimes you might take something as a personal attack when it was not intended to be. And if your doing the criticizing, remember that no matter how hard you try, they may never see it your way and there comes a time to just drop it.

I encourage everyone to try and do what I do, just hold all that anger in until some TBSS owner comes to the board talking trash, them let him have it! :D

i told you guys turbonator works!

On a serious note, I do believe, at least with my ride, that it does like hilly rides vs. flat roads. I normally get 15-16 on flat highways (eg I-10), but on a long trip up North through the hills of AL, TN and Virginy I got 18-19 MPG...and that was without the turbonator:D I was towing something on the way back so can't compare if uphill/downhill ratio was at play, but my guess is that uphill travel doesn't burn much more gas than running flat, and this thing loves coasting downhill. So what am I saying...move to a hilly area and buy the turbonator for optimal gas MPG.
