What do you guys use to clean/maintain the chrome trim? I am mainly concerned about the piece on the front lip and the window sills.

I just use windex but I notice the big one on the rear bumper is starting to tarnish or oxidize so I'm going to need something else I guess.

^^^ I don't know the solution to stop the oxidizing, a lot of times i hear of guys painting them when it happens.

I just use the same polish I use on my wheels. It's a chrome/aluminum polish. I forget the name of it though.

you can use that on the window trim, but the rest of the chrome on the truck is actually plastic, so i wouldnt use that.

Oh okay! I will keep that in mind, thanks for the heads up. Would it end up ruining it?

Thats was I was worried about. However I actually got a small dent in my front lip chrome so I was thinking its metal?

I always washed mine and maintained it the same way I did the paint. If you have a new chrome strip, I would recommend getting it a clear bra.

Clay bar with the rest of the truck and then a coat of paint sealant on top.
