Aluminum Race Blocks! (http://www.pwrparts.com/?p=516)

These are not the standard Mopar aluminum blocks that were just released for the late model Hemi. These were cast 4 years ago to be used for the 24 hour of Le Mans race circuit. The program was canceled before the engines were built. These 5 blocks have unique part numbers and are the only 5 in existence. They are also numbered 001-005 from McLaren Race Engines who were the intended builders. They feature remote oil filters, reinforced engine mounts, bushed lifter bores, 65mm cam journal with roller needle bearings, billet caps with 6-bolt mains on center 3 and 4 bolt on 1 & 5. Block weight is only 88lbs. We are keeping number 1 and up for sale are 002-005. These can be built as a 376, 399, or 426. Cost is $7995 for the 399 and 426 and $7495 for the 376. In addition to the built shortblock, the customer will receive the original 5.0L rotating assembly that would have been used had they competed in the 24 hour of Le Mans. This rotating assembly consists of a Billet Crankshaft from Bryant, Carrillo Rods, and JE Pistons. There are only 5 of these in existence and they will not ever be built/sold again. Act now to get a very rare block.

There is no warranty on this block as it is not replaceable.

I have had these for a while, but we have been working on modifying them to fit in an LX/Jeep/LC since they were originally setup with a motor plate and dry-sump oiling system. We have allot of hours in these and I cant wait to get one in our car.

when comp told me a 65mm cam is stronger than a light pole with excitement, it got me all excited, lol. The roller bearings are my favorite part. I will get a pic up shortly.
