Guys I know there are a lots of threads about the rear fogs and I have been through them and followed their direction but I can't get the rear fogs to work! I have an 07 SRT 8 and the relays were missing I bought 3 and installed them also I got the wire harness for the tow 4-pin adapter and installed. White is ground to both lights and yellow for the left and green for the right. Black wire was not used. Install complete and no workie. Went to the dealer and told them about the tow package wiring not working and they said that it always does. I tried to explain that it may need to be connected to the computer to activate it but it seems like they don't understand English. Any suggestions guys I would really appreciate it!

For 2007's, you need to activate via Star Scan. Took about 10 seconds once it was hooked up. If you need instructions, I can point you to PDF file.

go to end of document (the English portion) and you will see the STARSCAN menu activation sequence. Once i showed this to tech, we had it done in no time.

I had this same problem when I did mine. Yes, you need the dealer to plug in their StarSan tool, and enable the trailer harness.

Why they come disabled from the factory...... who the hell knows.

Do you need to do this on the '06 - have the dealer enable the trailer harness- starstan toll??

I did NOT have to do this on my EARLY build (August '06) 2007 JGC.

Thanks DavesSRT8! Just came from the dealer and got it to work. They did not know why I wanted to enable it since it is a SRT8...I left it at that so they could keep on guessing!:D
