I usually use a wheel cleaner first with a brush to get them clean then go at it with blue magic metal polish

Borla cleaner and steel wool. will make the exhaust look brand new.. the steel wool did not scratch the borla s at all..just be gentle

as long as you go gentle and make sure is 0000 steel wool you will be fine. 000 will leave scratches.

Mothers is the product for me, been using it on the exhaust tips for near 30 years... Oh shit I guess Im telling my age now!! It use to be called Mothers Mag Wheel Polish, I used it for the American Racing Mag wheels I had, those were called Slots. Anyone remember??? Anyway, it takes rust off of chrome, stains off exhaust tips...

I just discovered "Never Dull" myself. Is it safe to use on the wheels, too?

Ive found with the new design of the '12 rims that they have alot of cracks and crevices, not lending itself to wheel wax or sealant as much. If your looking for a more simple but very effective product check out the Adams Quick Sealant, its an aerosol and with 2 coats you will be able to simply spray the wheel and the dust will come right off, with no agitation. I have used it on my WK1 wheels for months now and have only had to reapply once, can will last you a long time. check it out:

http://www.adamspolishes.com/p-703-adams-quick-sealant-kit.aspx

the kit has an applicator and towel to buff off residual residue, so 30 bucks and your set for more than the entire year, especially with that can. I have done 4 full car (paint and wheels), and have just a little less than half a can left. Worth a try.

Better than steel wool but hard to get is Bronze wool 0000. It won't ever
rust, and you can clean you glass like new with it. Also put a 4" buffing
pad on your cordless drill and a little scratch remover and you'll polish
those tips like a mirror.
