I have searched for a while and can't find an answer. I want to install a hardwired 3.5mm headphone style jack that inputs into my REC nav unit. All I can find is this iPod stuff - which I don't want or need. I just want a 3.5mm input into the REC unit so I can play music - don't care about charging, controlling, etc. Also, I am on a budget so I would like to do it myself if possible. Thanks!

If you have the rear DVD add a RCA jack to headphone jack in the rear VES. $12.99.

Unfortunately, I don't have VES. Any other suggestions?

Anything cheaper or DIY?
Thats probably as cheap as you will find. I don't think there is any DIY info out there.

doesnt get any easier than a plug n play system..you could search e-bay for the same pac unit and might find it for a few bucks cheaper..
