I am now the owner of a trinity.

I plan to load my stock tune back into my jeep via my predator but before I do this I want to make sure I'm not going to have to send anything to Johan. I read in the crom update about 08's having to do a separate file update and Johan needing to redo tunes the the stock file matches. Mine is an 08 and I want to make sure the steps I have to follow. I need my jeep for work tomorrow so I don't want to be stuck without a tune tomorrow morning.

I have yet to check if my trinity has the update or not. If it is the old file can I just load my cmr tunes in the trinity and into my jeep with no problems once my stock file has been restored with my predator?

Sorry for all the newb questions...thanks to anyone with info/advice.

You don't have to do the update if you don't want to Dave.

I know I'm okay not to update.....with the previous crom can I just load my current Johan cmr toons into my trinity and load them into the jeep after returning it to stock with my predator?

I'm not sure if my current cmr toon files from Johan for the predator will be the same as would be used by the trinity. Just don't want any issues with the trinity reading my cmr toons and my original backup that will need to be done.

Should be no problem. When I switched to the Trinity, all I did was connect to the computer and load my tunes from the DS Downloader. It was the same procedure as loading tunes into the predator.

For now I will just have it mounted with the suction cup mount that comes with the trinity. I have a dual gauge pod I am going to install that will hold my A/F gauge and soon the trinity w/adapter to fit.

It would not let me hook up to the DS Downloader without updating. I tried hooking up to the jeep without updating but it did not have any chrysler/dodge/jeep options.

I performed the crom update and then the dcx calibration update. I just now got in from uploading my original backup into the trinity. Emailing Johan new backup so my cmr toon files can be changed. Looks like I'm driving the wife's car to work tomorrow since it is supposed to rain and the motorcycle will not keep me dry. ;)

OFF-TOPIC: Do you have the pod installed? I want to see how the pod color off match the interior color of the jeep.
Fuel pressure gauge + A/F are going on the pillar, trinity on suction for now.
Thinking to hook a/f to trinity and take the gauge out and hook trinity to the pillar.
But well see

Looks sweet. Now if I ask about the color mix code, would you know it?

Johan sent the new toons to me this morning, will load them up when I get home.

Woo-hoo for easier data logging......

Uploaded the toons to the trinity and loaded toon into jeep. Trinity is much faster, I'm glad I made the upgrade. Now I've got to play with what gauges I want displayed.

Plan to play with it more tomorrow and possibly do some data logging after putting some miles on the jeep.

Not sure, the weather has been mid to high 80's down here and I know I'm not going to run a PB in that weather.

After I revise my toon some I will head back to the track I guess and see what numbers my jeep will do in the heat.
