The Inferno Red GC SRT8 is here and I am scheduled to pick it up on Friday. I am fired up to say the least. I have read on some other posts that suggested break in is 300-500 miles. Since I haven't been able to read the manual yet I was hoping to get some help from y'all on this forum. Are we supposed to keep the thing below 55/65 MPH for the entire time? I happen to have a sweet commute that has 17 miles of unrestricted speed limit to and from the office. When the weather is good, 100-140+ MPH is a daily reality depending on the car I'm driving. Not sure I could drive "slowly" for 500 miles!!
