I could shoot the SRT8 all day. I honestly think it is hands-down the nastiest "sport" SUV since the Lambo LM002, and it totally rips the pavement apart...My friend had a GMC Typhoon growing up, and this is like the second coming of that bad boy but with a much nicer interior. :D

Jordan's on Sunday? I will let them know! They are in Andover and are always looking for reasons to take out the SRT8s, the brother has the Charger, and another friend has the 300. :D

These shots were taken with a Canon 20D. I used a 24-70 f/2.8L for the still shots, and a 14mm f/2.8L for the rolling shots. The 14mm is on loan from a very good friend and it really is super sharp, and with the crop factor of the 20D I don't get a lot of distortion at the edges like I do when I shoot with a full frame sensor camera like the 5D or my friends 1Ds. :)

It just came to my attention that one of my pictures from this thread was used in a calendar that is being sold for profit on this forum. While the person who brought this to my attention expected me to blow a gasket about not being asked for my permission to use my property - for whatever reason - the more I thought about it, the less and less problem I had with the whole thing.

While I do dabble in professional work, Photography is not how I make my living and I highly doubt anyone is getting rich off the one pic that was used in the calendar. While I cannot help but feel slightly rubbed the wrong way, I refuse to feel it was in any way an act of malice. Besides, I love the SRT-8 Jeep and the fact remains that it is flattering that my photo was chosen at all.

Next time, though, can someone please PM me? I could have supplied a much high-resolution copy of the photo that was used, at the very least, which would have made the month of August look that much better. :)

I know all the pictures that were submitted were supposed to be submitted by the owners of that vehicle. So, I am by no means making any judgements or pointing any fingers, but someone could be claiming that pic falsely as their own...I really hope that is not the case!!!! Good attitude CMT!!!!

I just poked around, and the pic was submitted with my name on it. As I suspected, there was no malice or misrepresentation, so things are cooler than a fan - and I no longer feel rubbed the wrong way whatsoever.

Thanks for the support guys. I see no need to be obtuse about what happened as it's really not a huge deal in the grand scheme of things. But next time let me at least give up the full-res. That's all I ask. :D
