hi guys, i bought my SRT8 @CARMAX for 2 weeks now, and i start to feel little hesitation when i shift 1st to 2nd gear. My question is can i bring my car to Carmax to let them look at the problem or bring it to the dealer?

If you are covered by the Manufacturer warranty, head directly to the dealer!

Totally normal bro, mine does it too. It seems to go away once the cars warmed up and been moving for 15 minutes or so right?
deal with it or get the B&G flash I guess. I'd B&G but I just can't justify the $1000 vig on the B&G yet.

Deal with it? it a $42000 car!!! i would expect proplem like this come later when it around 100k or so. My wife 94 Lexus ES300 shift so smooth and it had 155K. I wouldn't spent $$$ on B$G flash since you cant get the throttle to open more than 76%, beside all my money have been gone to upgrade the Car stereo system(Still can't bellieve WHY Boston Accoustic but their brand name on the system) . Well that is another story. Back to topic so can the stealer able to fix this? will they charge ton of $$$ ???

My SRT-8 never hesitated at WOT...but I would take it to the dealer. If you plan on keeping and driving it, you may want to consider an extended Warranty. PM Championjeep, he will sell you one at a great price.

Since you bought it at Carmax, I'm assuming it's an '06? If so, Jeep has a TSB for that hesitation, #21-020-06, I believe.

I think we need to get more info about the hesitation. This TSB is for a delayed 1-2 shift due to hitting the rev limiter prior to shift during WOT only. His issue sounds like something different. Here is more info on this TSB. VaSpeed - Is that what you have?
TSB #: 21-020-06
Date: December 20, 2006
Subject: Flash: SRT8 - Delayed Or Rough 1-2 shift at Wide Open Throttle After Kickdown
Overview: This bulletin involves selectively erasing and reprogramming the Transmission Control Module (TCM) with new software.
Models: ALL 2005-2006 SRT8 models of the 300C, Charger, Magnum and Grand Cherokee (North America and International Markets).
Symptom/Condition: The customer may experience a delayed 1-2 shift at wide open throttle after a kickdown. This is often referred to as a harsh or jerky shift which is the result of the engine reaching the maximum engine speed fuel cut off prior to the transmission shifting.
Note: This flash will also change the strategy for the “Autostick” feature. This version will allow the transmission to upshift when the maximum engine speed is reached. The previous version would not allow the upshift unless the driver selected the next gear. Once the flash is performed, all of the changes are permanent and cannot be reversed.

He could be talking about the clunk around 20mph as well.
VaSpeed - FYI, that's a transmission self test I'm describing. It's a normal thing that happens the first time you reach 20mph after every start-up.
