The 5 month hibernation is almost over. I'm ready to come out of my cave and go foraging for ricers again. ;) Hope to see a big Jeep turnout this season too! I know there are some new builds in the area (including mine), so they best turn out and show us what they've got or we'll be handing out the Chicken Cards...
The first T&T is Saturday, April 9th. There are two more the next weekend Sat 16th and Sun 17th. Gates open at 8 AM, and first runs at 9 to 9:30. The Wednesday CSP "Take it to the Track" nights kick off on the 20th at 4:30 PM. Entry fee has risen to $35 this season, but it could be worse.
Here's the 2011 Schedule.

Thanks bud! I hope it does, but also hope it doesn't. Haven't got my head around losing the rear seat yet. But the idea of turning it into a van is interesting. ;)

You don't need a helmet unless you run faster than 14.0, or have an aftermarket power adder. At which point you'll have to have a fire retardant jacket too. They rent helmets for $5 a day. Not sure about jackets. What mods you got? Unless you've got a blower or nitrous you'll be running 14's. Altitude sucks!

Sure hope so bro! Hittin' the Superflow Monday morning so I should have a better idea where I should be afterwards. I'll have to see if I can borrow a cellphone from someone so I can get you and Jim my number. I'm boycotting AT&T. ;)

So far no mod...I'll have a CAI and custom tune soon so I think I'll be more then fine without helmet...LOL

Well there's an advantage to that as well. I find the helmet and jacket hot and uncomfortable. 90 degrees with the windows up and no a/c is not the fun part of racing. But the adrenaline rush more than makes up for a little discomfort. ;)

I agree with this...like waiting for the green light in a motorcycle with full leather suite...
