: Finally, I am getting my ride!
stevesvt 06-23-2007, 08:04 PM After ordering my GC SRT8 8 months ago, I finally get to take delivery sometime next week.
I currently drive a 2004 F150 Lightning, but soon after I found out my wife was pregnant, I ordered the SRT since the truck isn't really suited for hauling a family around in. Well, my wife had the baby a month ago and still no SRT
I have already made 3 payments on the ride
I guess it was actually going to get here a month ago, but while it was sitting at the docks in California, they pulled it for a recall. I'm not sure which one right now. It didn't make it back in time and missed the boat.
The sales guys over here have been helpful. Because of the time and mistakes, they have managed to give me about $1,500 in credits onto my loan.
I ordered a black GC SRT-8 with Option Group 1. I didn't get the navigation because I can't use it here.
Anyway, I can't wait to finally drive my SRT.

HoustonSRT-8 06-23-2007, 08:31 PM Wow, 8 months and 3 car notes, but no vehicle. I'd be going crazy.
kramsay1234 06-23-2007, 09:44 PM me too, but good news that your big day is arriving...
DJ Red Barron 06-25-2007, 05:08 AM Wow... I would have a huge problem paying a note on a ride that I haven't taken delivery of.
stevesvt 06-25-2007, 06:53 AM Yeah, I kinda didn't have a choice. They wouldn't ship it over here without being paid in full.
2007GCSRT8 06-25-2007, 07:11 AM It sounds like something is fishy. I have a feeling we haven't heard the end of this one. Well on a brighter note, I found out last week that I had won a lottery over in Africa. All I have to do is pay the taxes up front and they will be sending me several million next week!!! Wahoooooooo!!! :D

Yeah, I thought so too, but when I finally looked up military car sales, low and behold they actually exist and it is a semi legitimate organization.
The Africa lottery on the other hand, what are the chances of both of us winning that in the same week? ;)
chefsrt8 06-25-2007, 09:48 AM Can you let us know why the NAV is N/A in S. Korea??

I think he's saying that the nav has no maps for S. Korea, so it's useless for him to get that option.

That's correct.
I can't use any American made navigation head units over here because of the lack of Korean maps.
The Korean navigation head units pretty much suck so I actually just use a portable unit which is pretty much a necessity if you want to find anything because they really don't use street names here yet. I don't know people find stuff without one.
