There's a local tuner (Toronto, Canada) around the corner from me, they are offering a turbo kit for the 6.1 SRT8, and claim 700+ hp at the crank. I was hoping for a few veteran opinions... Is this competitive with other offerings out there?

Here are some of the features:
No cutting or modification of Factory Vehicle (fully reversible)
Includes full plug and play tuning solution (no cutting, soldering, or slicing of factory wiring harness)… this includes spark / timing / fan / drivability controls complete
All 304 stainless steel tubing, 304 SS laser cut flanges throughout
Grade 8 hardware throughout
CNC bent system ensuring perfect fit each time
Ceramic and powder coating
Turbonetics T66 850hp capable compressor
Turbonetics evolution wastegate
Maintains 30 miles/Gal highway
Fully emissions compliant
full stainless T-bolt clamps
comprehensive fueling solutions including pressure regulator and 8 larger fuel injectors, fuel pump rewire
methanol injection included
dry oil sump system
Full stainless oiling system
high flow catalytic converter
50mm Blow-off valve
replacement flexible transmission dipstick
bolts to stock exhaust system (no exhaust shop needed), optional high flow exhaust available
91 Octane minimum requirement
Standard included are : Highflow cold air intake, thermostat, spark plugs

I'm very new to SRT8's or any aftermarket mods, just picking up my GCSRT8 today. :)

Sounds to me like a general statements in regards to their kit!---retains 30mpg, that will never happen, unless you loose 4 cylinders or perhaps, drag it with a tow rope in neutral. Sounds like a ricer kit - seeing it on a 6.1L will make me a believer ! GC

I guess they have the 5.7L Hemi version of this as well as the 6.1 SRT8.

I'll post the site http://www.conceptsonwheels.com/services/perf_hemiturbo.php

It's the same system as car tuning performance is offering for the 5.7L, to date the 6.1L is not ready---this has been going on a while now!!!---Like I said, believe it when I see it!

I spoke to Ed Keiper over at Concept On Wheels back in March (I also posted something on this forum) when I saw their kit at a car show in Toronto. I brought my Jeep over to their shop after the show and they took a look to see what changes they would have to make to their kit to fit the Jeep. They said they would contact me when they were ready with something but I'm not holding my breath. I think they will concentrate on higher volume SRT8 models like the Magnum and Charger. Here are pics I took of the kit at that car show.

Any advice on posting images in the body of the reply rather than as an upload would be appreciated. There is a limit of sub 300kb and it is hard to make out the images I posted.
