here's the deal...due to some recent "restructuring" i was let go yesterday. based on my sense of urgency to begin a new career, hopefully outside of retail, i'm turning to the forums and my Jeep peeps! i'm a firm believer that its not always WHAT you know, but WHO you know as well.

my background is in retail management, i've been running multimillion dollar stores for the past ten years, successfully, even in this economy. i have been in charge of hiring, training and developing my entire staff, up to 30 people. Next to customer service, development is one of my greatest passions! i love to teach and see people succeed! I have put together training programs and led training meetings for new and existing managers and followed up on their progress. as store manager you're not only responsible for putting money in the register, but you are in charge of all HR, payroll, visual presentation and loss prevention duties...store managers wear many different hats and i've always treated my stores as it was MY business.

anyone who knows me knows i work hard and always have fun, no matter what! i LOVE what i do but, for my family, i feel its time to put my skills to use in another field. i really enjoy learning new things and put all i have into everything i do!

i just updated my resume and have about 5 different people looking it over, but i am willing to email it if anyone can pass it along!

thanks for reading! and feel free to ask questions or pm me!

bro i dont have any solid leads for you but I would suggest you seriously consider something that supports healthcare. over near my house Walgreens is opening TWO SCRATCH built stores.
Smoky Hill and Buckley/ Hampden and Chambers/ they already have a stor at Hampden and Tower.

these stores are poorly run; get your res to them; maybe something come from it.

other than that shaun ALL the BEST BRO. Chin up!

I work for a company that places executive positions all over the country, and recently i've been noticing a sizable increase in the amount of positions in the scientific/medical field, lots of higher end jobs come and go in those fields all the time. Definitely a lucrative field to go into and most people that we place seem to enjoy it... Jusy my .02

Agree on the medical field. If you don't mind blood and guts. Consider going to school for a pathology assistant. We pay our about 80k and that is probably on the low end of average.
