Damn! I got all excited until they said it's like a normal T&T. NHRA rules apply, and you can't go faster than tech'd for. I'll wait and get kicked out for $35 rather than $83.
Thanks for the heads up though!

oh sorry wink. i read a post on a forum about it and i thought they were implying you could get around the rules.
didnt mean to post it if its useless/ so what is it the purpose if ALL RULES APPLY LOL
there must be a catch; either that or people like paying more than double for a few runs.

No man it's not useless. If I knew for sure I wouldn't need my bar and belts I'd be all over this. That site is mostly ricers and bikes that've run the same/similar setup for several seasons, so most are up to spec already. And by limiting entrants to 100, they are assured of more passes per vehicle than a normal T&T where there's usually way more. I suppose the weather will still be cool and DA lower too. If you can call 6000 ft low. ;)
Not sure how some of the other rentals get around the rules, but Bandi is a stickler for NHRA regs. Though I've seen some slip through, shorts, no helmet, jacket, etc.. Get caught and you can get banned.

Normally for track rentals, the rules are technically still there...but they don't enforce them to nearly the same standards. 100 cars is a lot especially at $83 a car. In MD a track rental is about $1500 for the whole day, which would be $75/car if 20 showed. At $83/car and 100 cars "someone" is making some serious dough in their pockets!
