Hey la77amx, Slate.5.9 and tydallas, I am in Salt Lake City and while I dont have a GCSRT8 yet, I do have a 300C SRT8. Love the GCSRT & I actually was pretty close to trading mine in for the GCSRT, but I figured I could have both in the garage someday soon. There is a whole group of GCSRT8 owners as well as Modern Mopars ie; 300, Challengers, Chargers, Magnums and Jeeps both SRT8 & 5.7L

Anyhow wanted to personally invite you guys to the local club/site.

We are having a Drive In Movie/Meet & Greet April 30th to watch Fast Five and also another upcoming event to watch for is the all Mopar Drag'In Rights bracket Racing May 13th(Friday) @ RMR. Hope all 3 of you guys check out site and attend some local events. Great bunch of folks and besides we need more Jeep Representation.

Not sure if you guys seen Kathy's GCSRT8, its Silver 426 Vortech Supercharger and its a fricken beast. Phil Munoa has a Red GCSRT8 down in Provo, Boomer w/ personalized plates "Blakout" has a black on in Alpine area, Kyle from America Fork just sold his recently.

But you guys are right, GCSRT8 are pretty rare, which is odd, being that we live in Utah, but every once in awhile you'll spot one.

I'm in the Logan area too. I am currently working in Iraq right now....and thus, still haven't bought my SRT yet. I will be purchasing a WK2 SRT in the future. I'll be home the end of June for a couple weeks of RR then back to the sandbox.

I am down & Ty of course you are more than welcome to cruise with us, afterall I am more of an outsider than you;) We should all plan a BBQ this summer and end of year cruise this fall. Last years cruise we had roughly 52 SRTs/Mopars from Jeeps, Vipers, 300, Challengers, Magnums, Chargers, Neon, Calibers, but no Crossfires.

Just wanted to give everyone heads up notice on upcoming All Mopar Muscle Show, June 26 (Sunday) 10am-3p at LH Miller Chrysler Dodge Jeep @ SouthTowne AutoMall (10905 So Automall Dr) right by Costco of 106 S Exit. Its a free show to enter and free show for family & friends and general public to view rides. There will be many SRT8 Jeeps and Jeeps of all kind, plus all the other SRT8 Line Up as well as all the cool classic & muscle Mopars.

I will see if I can find links to last years show, so you can check out some of the rides.

Everyone should come out, even if you dont want to enter your Jeep. If you have any questions let me know.

Got it back!! Wasatch auto body did an amazing job.

I installed my 4" bwoody intake, borla exhaust and a canned tune. Can't wait for my springs to get here and install my end links with them!

Yes Aug 5th, there will be a bunch of the SRT8 and R/T folks at Rocky Mountain Raceway. We can all meet up there, and those that want to race can, and those that want to watch & hangout can.
Going to RMR this evening to race, hoping for new Personal Best. Best time so far 13.4 @105

There is also a big car show planned for Aug 20th in Tooele. Will get more details closer to date.

I have seen a couple more GCsrt one with an SRT sticker across the top of his windshield. Looked clean.

I also went up to the car show at brighton ski resort and saw some sick cars. Good times. No jeeps though.

Aug 5th (Friday) at Rocky Mountain Raceway, is the Mopar club quarter mile drag strip shootout.
So get those last minute modification done and cars dialed in for some fun bracket style racing.
Gates open at 4pm Aug 5th and Time Trials start roughly at 445p.
Cost is $30 for Drivers. Adults $10, Youth (5-12) $5.

We are trying to get a more accurate head count, so if you are interested in racing, please let Gordon (440Gordy) or myself (1bad4door) know, so we can ensure you are added to the list we have to turn in to RMR management. Mopars invade the Drag Strip tonight at Rocky Mountain Raceway. We only have 2 GCSRT representing tonight. Even if you arent racing, everyone should come on out and watch/support.

I didn't get off work in time, but I was wanting to still run it at the track and was thinking about going to the midnights. Not sure I want to wait in that ridiculous line all night for a couple passes though.

i was there. i got there at almost 720 thats the best i could do. i saw a silver GCSRT that drove right next to me without waving. i dont think i had my camouflage suite on so i think he saw me and my car. i wonder

There were only 2 GCSRT8, Phil M and his buddy Rick. Rick advance pretty far, making it to the quarter finals. GCSRT are the best for bracket racing because they are more consistent and dont have to worry about wheel spin issues as much. Not so lucky in my 300C SRT8, as I couldnt hook to save my life. Best run of the night was 13.6 @104PMH and 2.1 60ft.


Next year we are planning to have 2 All Mopar Club Drag racing nights and 1 AutoCross at Miller Motorsports.

There is a Mopar of Utah event tomorrow at Hinckley Dodge Race Shop @ 2850 So Main Street Wed (8/10) at 7pm.

End of year cruise is still schedule for Oct 8th (Saturday).

It actually was pretty slow night, should have came you would have easily got 7-8 runs. Its crazy how its hit and miss, sometimes you get 3-4 runs other midnights you get 7-8 runs.
Few SRT8 guys from the group are talking bout racing midnights in September. Not sure what day, but I will let everyone know.

The Silver GCSRT was probably Jose, he comes to track to watch from time to time. havent seen him run down track yet. Had to jump out of my car to get his attention, I dont think he understands the excitement fellow SRT8 owners get when they see another.

So far ive seen almost 10 GC srts in total in salt lake and 0 of them ever gave a sh^^ lol

Anyone have the QA1 shocks? I got so tired of the construction and the harsh bumps i got a set finally. I hope it helps.

Midnights Sept 30 from 6pm to Midnight. I know there will many Utah Modern Mopars out there as this is the last one for the year at RMR.

Tom aka Cibola1000 in his beautiful Orange GCSRT came out few weeks ago and amazed the crowed with an awesome performance. He ran 11.9 @ 122MPH.

Dont forget end of year Cruise is Oct 8th and it would be great to have everyone come out and cruise.
