It's looking like a 'if the weather permits' kinda thing. Looks like Tuesday we won't even get out of negative temps, with snow pretty much guaranteed sometime this week. Depends on the site, but some call for more on Friday and/or Saturday. :( However it should be back up in the 30's. Let's see how it's going around Wednesday or Thursday... Cold I can handle, snow is a horse of a different color...

It's seen enough. Hell I can't get any traction when it's dry with this cold pavement. But it's not me I'm worried about. It's these idiots up here that think they can drive like it's dry. And they drive bad enough then. :eek:

Thats rt down the st from the house I might swing by. It'd be cool to meet ya guys. I'm still holding out for the new srt maybe I wanna see one even then I might wait a year to make sure the new one is all good. Probly end up with 08-10 anyway though lol. Sik lookin body. Be careful out there driving guys. Wife rolled her Element on the way to work yesterday driving down 36. Going 45 mph, hit ice and rolled down the embankment 3x. She just has a little whiplash and a sprainned neck. Thank God that lil Honda protected her and the pup.

Usually I suck with names, but I love dogs. ;) Yeah I worry about them in cars because they aren't strapped in with airbags aimed at them like us. But animals are usually tougher than us anyways. Just glad it wasn't worse. Three rolls is pretty intense. :eek:

no kidding, little car did its job. i work for state farm but i'm pretty sure the claims adjuster will total it.

Looks like this Saturday is off. Chance of rain/snow has been steadily increasing. So let's try the next weekend. Same time and place on the 12th. Is that good for everyone?

i'd be down for a postpone on this one as well as a relocate to Boulder. ;) i enjoyed the Boulder meet with the COSRTOC guys (when i took the Jeep offroading. lol). think there are some great cruising routes out that way...even if we head up Baseline and went to the Dam...that or Boulder Canyon Dr....could get some awesome pics too. ;)

yup, baseline west up flagstaff mtn is a pretty drive. another good one is boulder > ned > blackhawk > golden via peak to peak hwy is a beautiful drive

The scenic drives would be more scenic during daylight. We are meeting late in the afternoon. Just saying...

well maybe we could start a little earleir than 4-5. once its dark its freaking cold.

2 PM meet up for a cruise up into Boulder county or whatever and then we meet at 4-5 to have some grub.

we should definitely make it more of a cruise than a "mall meet" if you ask me. its always easy enough to start off/end up back at a parking lot somewhere....like that outdoor mall off, what is it 28th?....we could meet at Flatirons...then jump on Interlocken Loop/W 120th Ave (128) headed West to S. Foothills Hwy (93)...then take that to Boulder and jump on Baseline...take that up into the Foothills for some great pics (if not take it as far as the Dam). then head back down and maybe even get a Beer and some grub someplace in Boulder...

edit...this obviously is weather permitting...this cruise should be reserved for a sunny day....and a day when i have the Jeep all in tip top shape. this weekend isnt looking like the one.

well, for the guys coming from the south....figure we could either caravan up or just meet at Flatirons and then cruise to Boulder from there via 93. then we could meet up and cruise Baseline...thant, or we all could meet at Flatirons and then take that cruise to Boulder....after going up Baseline, if some are hungry and want to grab a Beer we could do so off 29th or somewhere else in Boulder...

Good thing is that this should be my last deployment. If all goes well, I should be retiring next year. Then it's off to Corpus Christi.

Talked to Michael the other day and he said he was getting ready to start Phase Two on your Jeep. Can't wait for Bandi... ;) We'll have Manuel with his new Vortech to join in the fun too. Add in Roger's beast, and the Jeeps are gonna rep strong for sure this season.

No it's not. But I tracked it down. Just got to get it into the shop so they can fix it. ASAP! Just can't do any spirited driving till then. And I have to crack the garage door and run a fan until the pressure leaks off or it fumes out the house and gives me a headache.

Thanks man! Yeah it turned out the coupler with the setscrews weren't tightened. They already had teflon tape on them, so he assumed they were already tightened and didn't check. One had backed out and was dumping fuel under the coil cover. No more Stank! ;) Also got the final issue resolved so I can log my wideband with the Trinity. Finally! Thanks to Knuckles for the guidance there! It's running really strong now. Just need to get the new air filter mounting resolved and I think I'm done for now...
