is it going to be faster than the 07? I know it will be the standard 6.1 Hemi but are they tuning it to be more efficient in any way(gearbox, new chip, anything)? Any performance improvements?

My 2nd question is I know that they are making minor changes to the interior, does anyone know what that might be? I know they are adding my gig(we have to pay extra for that anyway:rolleyes:) ...but as far as the aesthetics of the interior....any wood trim at all?

Thanks SRT8. People have been complaining about alot of things namely the shift hesitation and the brake squeels.

Do you think that maybe they are going to fix these issues or are they going to come up with the same crap(with hids yipee!:rolleyes:) and stamp them as 2008s along with a new, more expensive, price tag?:confused:

The hesitation was supposed to be fixed w/'07's. The brake squeal may stay some, they did issue a TSB just for rears. The pads are just prone to squeal, but they work very well. My '06 squealed from ~400-2500 miles, but is now gone. IMO some of the hesitation is due to the newer drive-by-wire & the torque management, Chrysler is trying to reduce the warranty claims. Hopefully we get some more tuning ability soon.

I just hope they give us bigger tires and wheels for the export models. The only thing that is stopping me from purchasing the 07 model is the pathetic size tires and wheels they put on for the export models. Im sure you have seen them. 245s on front and back and get this the wheels are the same size also for front and back and they are not chromed.

And we pay more...we pay around $3k more than the American specs MRSP.

Why did Chrysler sh#t on us I dont know. I will never know. Even the dealership doesnt know. They say that this is the package....want it or not?

Maybe the the SRT team can shed some light on this.
