ok i bought a stant radiator cap now i got two problems

1. i cant seem to open the stock radiator cap for some reason... is there a special way to open it? i twist it and thats it... seems like its holding on to something or am i just weak? i dont wanna yank it out and break something...

2. when i twist it to open... radiator fluid starts to come out and doesnt stop unless i tighten it... i did this overnight on a cold start

Push down, while you are twisting to get past the second stop. It is a safety feature (2-step)

On the coolant seeming to be to full, I had a little come out when I changed to the Stant locking cap but nothing major.

Try doing it "luke warm". Maybe 110-120* (Be careful, squeeze the radiator hose to make sure there is not pressure in the system.)

ahh... i got it now haha... i was gonna break it... cause i didnt know how to open it... stant cap installed!!!
