Installed and i like the sound. Now it sounds like a HEMI should!!! It is loud but like any performance vehicle it is the right sound. If you use the gears like a real sports with a stick shift the sound is magnificent and if you keep it in the right gear there is no droan and if drive around town and keep it in 3rd at about 2200-2900 it is no louder than stock. I think Borla deserves an A with there design.:) :) :) :) :)

I love it.. thanks for that. Thats excactly what i was looking for....if i drive it easy when im with clients i cant see it being that loud. I kow if i get on it it will be louder, i want that. I also love playing with the auto stick (on down shifts especially) and i cant wait to hear what it sounds like. Also that 5" tip is menacing and i want that. On top of all this i only drive it half year for the other half is all snow. Thanks for your help, i will put a order in asap!!

Adam,

I drove around Chicago today thinking," Is this too loud to drive clients around?"
Last weekend I drove a visiting Dr. from Germany back and forth for dinner. He was about 45-50yr old. I had just met him, we got about three blocks and he said, " Man this sounds good". So then I started telling him about the exhaust, motor etc. He couldn't believe it when i said mine bone stock, 4.33 0 to 60. He turns to me and said (with an accent) But this thing weighs 3 tons. He told me how most cars in Germany are 1.8L fiats. Because gas is so high.

Anyway, back to my first statement: When you baby the accelerator with this motor, It is a super low tone, Which can be annoying, But there is no drone. It might be too much for clients.

My favorite part. When people want to check it out , when we're walking up to the Jeep. I remote auto start it. Sounds so awesome at startup and Idle.

Anyway good luck with your decision.

Thanks for the input.... i made my decision.... I went and purchased the borla s type...I couldnt resist especially for the price of the group buy. I dont think it will be to loud if im nice to it. Plus this is my baby... im not buying or driving this for anyone else. I was driving home from the track tonight wishing i had a louder exhaust. Soon i will.

Thanks again for your help.

i dont think it will change the sound much since by the time it gets to the tips, most of the exhaust sounds has been made.

That clip just about sold me!
What are you guys paying for install? Is this something the dealer can/should install, or should I avoid that for certain warranty reasons?

Not a bad idea to get the dealer to install. They get your moolah, but then they can't say it was a poor install job that led to problem x,y, or z if you know what I mean. Any cat back system should not cause you any issues with your dealer.
