It might be a PITA, but try the advanced search, and highlight peticular search areas.

there's no way (that i found) to do an "and" search. so the more terms you enter, the more results you'll get, as even if a thread has only one of the search words, the page is marked as a hit.

LOL Mike, I was thinking the same thing.

Just do an advance search and take the time to read the titles and whatnot.

Interesting topic! Don't forget to look at the bottom of the page of all threads for similar threads. Many times you'll find the answer to your question there. Also, using tags when you start a new thread can be a big plus and you can search tags in the advanced search as well.

No search is perfect on this or any other forum, but the worst thing is not giving your threads MEANINGFUL titles making indexing impossible.

I believe this forum's, and most others, work the same as Google and the other search engines, which gives some options. Using quotations will search for that exact phrase. You can also add another word or words in addition tot he quotes language.

"Fast jeep" will search for those words paired together like that. "fast jeep" +cam will search for the paired words, with threads that also contain the word cam.

searching this forum by "fast jeep" +cam results in a "fast or jeep or cam" search. try it.
