Well here they are as promised finally a suspension upgrade for the srt-8 jeep cherokee, factory swaybar links are a weak 5/16 in diameter and the way the factory mounts the passenger link bids the rear swaybar with a 1" offset. We corrected the offset by moving our passenger link inside the oem bracket, and ours are a whopping 7/8 in diameter and custom energy suspension bushings we used to improve handling even more. Our sway bar links are nearly tripple the the size of the oem links!! The weakest link of the srt-8's suspension is the sway bar links due to the lack of diameter and lack of strength, significant improvments in handling were felt on the test vehicle (mrfreeze). Adding these to your vehicle will make your srt-8 jeep handle like it should!!

Nice product!

Are the bushings the same durometer than stock or harder? Will they stay as quiet as stock as they get weathered and not make noise?

How will this affect launching? I assume this will stiffen the rise of the front end?

they are harder they are 60a durometer bushings are polyurethane and will not weather, we have rode over some rough terrain and no noise was emitted, as far as launching i'll let mrfreeze answer that i heard he went to the track tonight.

So this should be a pretty straight forward install, right? Just take the old one off, bolt the new one on? Anything special we should know if we do it ourselves (which I plan to do with the help of my VERY mechanically inclined Dad).

Simply remove the old ones, and put these back in their place! It's pretty much that simple. They even come with the upgraded bolts you will need where applicable. :)

My opinion its at least an 8 out of 10 you will definitly feel the diference, it no longer feels like an suv to me it now handles as well as my srt-4, install should take less than an hour you should be able to change the fronts with the tires on, on jackstands. the rear will have to be jacked up and both tires removed to install the rears their in a tight location. If you don't feel comfortable doing them i would take to a local shop.
