I have 25 time slips between ATCO and Englishtown.

19 of the 25 are all 12 second slips, I think I can truely say I have a 12 second SRT8 :D

The rest are all low 13's no higher then 13.2

I just made my own day :D

So how many runs do you guys have?

Three runs here. 13.1 being the fastest with horrible DA and only my B&B and Volant.

I will really need a DA conversion after I run with the ASM or I have to drive up to NJ.

Bring that beast here and 11's are almost guaranteed! Im 5/10th's away from it and I was running it with no truck prep! Heat soaked up the a**, IAT very HIGH etc etc.

Total of 133 time slips from Nov of 2005 to this date.
Most of them in E-Town, I raced also in Island and ATCO, on the 23rd I'll be visiting Maple Grove.
90% in the 14s, I think I can truly say that I have a 14 second jeep (common... don't laugh, it's a 5.7L) the rest are low 15s lol. :D

EDIT: Total of 123 (not 124), one timeslip was bevs, he gave me to scan.
EDIT 2: Found more, now 133.

Your rig is going to fly... I predict 11.5-11.7

Fast: If you make the trip up here, you can crash at my house free of charge. I'm so close to the track, it might save you some bucks. Just throwing that offer out there.

I had over 100 runs on the day I rented Rockingham. BlackStallion and I had to take a break and fill up the rigs!

Total number I would say with 3 days = 130.

I see you guys have very consistent numbers from back to back runs. Heat soaking doesn't seem to be a very big issue for these STR's... At least it seems.

Heat soak is NOT an issue as long as you use a 170* thermostat and a fan mod.

I'm a relative NOOB with a 2K6 JGCSRT/8 w/14K miles (added mopar exhaust and CAI as soon as they were available last year (thanks to the toyotas that bumped into my rear end))

So why is it that a 170degree thermo and fan mod makes a difference if you are doing constant runs? In theory isn't your coolant over 170/180/200 after a run or so or just driving there? And then aren't your fans on anyway at that point (before you say it, I've done the searches you folks)??

Yacc,
The factory fan won't come on until the Hemi is too hot to make a run without heat soak. As you have searched ;) Hemi's hate heat!
Yes, after a run the temp is warmer than 176*, but with the fan mod switched on, by the time I would get back to the starting line (and I used the short cut return lane next to the track when I rented the track) the temp would be at the bottom of the gage, about 172* by my laptop.

PLEASE if you are going to run at the strip, DO the fan mod & 170* thermostat. We want to to run well and show the fans an easy 12.8 run with no real mods.

Only 3 runs. Last week was my first with my 07' all were 13.0x @ 105.5+ :) Only one pass with my 06' bone stock, again at e-town and ran a 13.4 @102.7

Inferno, I don't think there is any question you have a solid 12 second SRT8. ;)

From the factory the heat soak is as bad as I have seen on any vehicle I have owned so far, like Bill said the 170-180 Tstat is a MUST for these SRT8's and a way to lower the IAT is to get tht IAT sensor out of the engine bay will significantly improve a stock SRT8's time. Also the GSM Phenolic Spacers will reduce heat soak and make your SRT8 consistent.

I love this damn 8!
