I heard from a friend who was talking to his performance guy on the phone, that if you hold the traction control button for 20 secs. it will turn off saftey features, such as the top speed governor.
I'm not even sure what the governor is set at?
I'm too scared to find out. I fear that my jeep (boxkite) will lift off the ground and do flips, like those old Nascar videos from Daytona and Taledega.:D
I look forward to your responses.

The complete disable function is only on the LX cars, not Jeeps.
SRT8's have no speed limiter that I'm aware of. I believe that in the right conditions an LX will do ~170mph & the Jeep/WK will do ~160mph.
Ive done 250 kilometers per hour on the highway. I belive that is a 155 MPH. Stupid question you guys say LX cars....what does that mean??

Unless you are on a LONG downhill on the autobahn -- 170 is possible.... :) BTDT. It will definitely bust 165. T-Time - it is amazingly stable at 150+. Boggles the mind. The GC is aerodynamically limited - no limits other than RPM and physics.
