dont know if it the rite forum section ..but thought i would share this.

My wife came by the firehouse saying some guy with a mitsubishi wrx with a loud exhaust was wanting to race her, now the windows are pretty damn dark and really cannot see in the vehicle,so he prob thought it was a male driving it...She gave me the keys and said im not driving it anymore!!!:boohoo:and she took the crown vic home. I told her not to worry just roll down the window and say "Im not in the mood" I hear that alot after being with the woman for 21 yrs!LOL.Anyway im lookin fwrd to seeing this wrx when im driving it.She rarely drives it but i leave her the key when i have to go into work .. its not a great neighborhood that i work in.Why is it when im driving it no one wants to try me ?All the guys at work thought she was pissed at me or some marrital problem ,it was pretty damn funny! just thought id share that with you.Does anyone here have a prob with wifey driving the jeeps??:confused::confused::confused::confused:

My wife likes to drive the SRT.

My Girlfriend likes it! She usualy races when someone REV beside her.

If my wife could she prob torch it to the ground nevertheless drive it! Hates it!!

Kidding aside, my wife loves it and hates it... She loves to drive the Jeep because she loves how it rides and the performance but hates the drone my exhaust makes. She rarely drives it thou... :)

well ... as much as I'd like her to experience the SRT, I can see the first thing to go would be the front bumper, next would be the wheels and then door dings would appear all over the place. That would all happen the first day ...

She's a talented graphic artist, and fast cars aren't a priority... :o

My g/f actually drives my Jeep everyday cuz I got transferred to a different city for work and her lancer gets better gas mileage so I usually take that. She doesn't like driving it cuz of all the attention it gets. Guys are always going up to her when she gets out of it and asking questions and staring as she is driving. My windows are really dark so you can't see in so I know they are shocked when a girl gets out of it

Man my Jeep gets no attention whatsoever. Only hardcore car guys have any clue that it's not a soccer mom vehicle.

See i retired from racing in 74 and started back in 07. She said how come you didnt race the magnum i said because running the 1/8 mile was like kissing your sister and the rest is history lol.

My wife is the one that bought the Jeep - so yes she apparently likes to drive it.

My wife likes the looks of the SRT8 but hates the really rough ride from the Fun Flat tires. She doesn't like the poor gas mileage either. All of this from a woman who drives A Hummer H3!!!:eek:

I do plan to get rid of the run-flats this spring but really worry about not having a spare tire.:o

My wife hate riding in it. She doesn't like they way the seats feel. My son on the other hand loves it... I would say, because of the Sirius TV. I love the fact that my better half doesn't want to drive my rig. I think if she did like to drive it, she might have noticed the mods I've done.

LOL well after all the 1/4 & a few 1/2 mile drags it seemed the 1/8 just wouldnt do it for me. After the 1st time out it really wasnt bad. We just need a good 1/4 mile track because Fontana is at least .15/.20 slower in the 1/8 & maybe .30 in the 1/4 than Fomoso as i been told. Fontana is +1275 altitude and Fomoso is +625.

My wife drives it to work downtown each day as I just got a 2010 charger for my work vehicle as I'm in sales and put lots of miles on per week. She like driving it except that it is too small inside if the kid is in the back. Not much room in it when ppl are in the back.

No wrx in site today...Still searchin for the rice burner!

My wife has quite a few kills in my Jeep. Sadly, well not really sadly, but ever since I did headers she says it's too loud.:D She doesn't drive it anymore unless I drink at dinner or something. When we first bought it, for about the first 2-3 months she always wanted to take it to the store. Thankfully, no more. Once I bought her her old Honda van, she never drove it again.:rocker:

The Jeep is my wife's.

My wife loves it. Thats why I had to buy her her own. She needed a DD & mine is for nice weather only. She only wanted the windows tinted 35% instead of darker so you can see in enough to tell theres a woman in it. She gets messed with all the time & probaly has more kills then me. Last summer when we meet up with Mike (jntdysf) at a car show when we were leaving people were saying "thats hers" :eek: & "that little thing is driving that."

Apparently there are very few of us women who ENJOY driving it. So sad....

I wish mine WOULD drive mine--my girlfriend that is.

She used to love it and want to drive it before I did the SC.... Now she is scared of it.

after i put the borla s on she didn't enjoy riding in it too much... (ex gf now :D hahaha)

The wife drives the Jeep like she stole it. After racing at Atco she left me at the bar and went to visit family. Then she picked me up from the bar and took me to the hotel. She laughs when people try to race her.
