For all my GC SRT8 (and other piston-heads) brothers & sisters out there, you can drive your ride on the Charlotte Motor Speedway as part of their Christmas Lights Celebration.

You hop on at the 1st turn, nail it and race to about 1/2 way down the backstretch! I did it 6 times and it was a blast! I was shocked they let us do it but they did. I got it to about 100 and kept it pretty steady there as I had my family in the car and didn't want to get too stupid.

They have other family stuff there too, but this was easily the best. There's a radio station that has the lights and music coordinated too, wife and kids loved that.

Heck, I do that on I-77 on my way to Northlake LOL!! J/K!! But seriously, I'll have to check that out because I thought the entire track was filled with lights. Or did they just do the smaller oval? It costs $20 per car, but they list $35 for "fast track pass". Could be fun!

I'm way over 100 on I-485 but not with the banking they have at the track. Pretty cool blasting by by someone down low on the track. Never did try the hi side of the track.
I did the Fast-Pass but was totally not-neeed. Could be different with everyone now out of school and weather moving in this weekend.
