PhillyJeep 06-13-2007, 02:49 PM I went to order a new pcm for my 07 today. The parts guy was asking numerous questions ( is this under warranty, where will you install it ). Am I the only one? I hope they do not track to see if I plan to void the warranty with install? mike123 06-13-2007, 06:37 PM The dealer I went to told me AD is off restriction but for 07 now the numbers are going to be "AE" no more "AD" pcm's produced he put in the part number "AD" @ the end of the part # and it came back as AE he called them and they said "AE" is all that will be produced EX-SVTMAN 06-13-2007, 06:44 PM what bthe f*ck does he care what it's for...tell him to give you the f*cking part and to stop being such a snitch! (We have done a few motor takouts into our old cars) They never ask then. It is p/n 5030062AB, which is superseeded by p/n 5030062AC which goes to a reman p/n RL030062AC. A 2007 PCM p/n 5030306AB-goes to 5030306AC-goes to 5030306AD(Which is on Star restriction)-goes to 5030306AE which is not on star restriction but is on b/o. The only difference between an AD and AE is the software that is installed on the PCM.
